Pac who was stopped twice before he went upto 126?
Prime Naz would hang with pac no doubt, 1997 Hamed was something special, and I don't think there would ever be a FW in the world who could have put him to sleep.
Dude, you're talking about the Flyweight Pac. Hamed can't put Pac down at 126. If Barrera schooled Hamed, Pac thrashes him.
Have you forgotten Pac @ 126?

I don't think there would ever be anyone who would put Hamed to sleep, Like I said before, the Hamed of 1997 would wipe the floor with any of todays FW's without a doubt, he isn't regarded as one of hardest P4P punchers for no reason you know?
Hamed would be in my top 5 hardest punching FW's ever alongside Saddler, Armstrong, Sanchez and maybe Arguello.
It's distasteful sometimes when people try and piss on his parade because of his confidence rather than his boxing ability when he was actually that damn good at his best, the Nas who reigned in that era was truly a great entertainer and fighter.

I think he is, and when he lands that counter left or straight right it's goodnight for Hamed. Hamed ain't slick like Rigo where Donaire have trouble finding. He can't clown on Nonito, he'll be destroyed the moment he floats his chin in the air. Hamed's gonna wipe the canvass with his short multiple times.
Nonito has amazing reflexes and timing one must not forget and most of all THAT lethal left counter that put down many opponents that I've lost count.

Darchinyan fought kind of like Hamed when he was good and that was his fighting style. For a healthy and ready Donaire, it is no contest. Nonito by UD or by KO take your pick
Hamed is one of the greatest punchers of all time.
Fckin hilarious people are bringing up Donaire's ''lethal left hook'' :lol1: as a mention to his power. Hamed had a lethal everything.
Think the Prince knocks him out.

Oh please. Hamed hits harder than Rigo. Way harder. He'd deck Nonito pretty often. Hamed was the bigger puncher, stronger at 126 where Donaire has proven nothing, and fought and beat bigger, better opposition. What do you think Hamed would've done to Vic Darchinyan? Stop.
I'm not convinced Donaire is stronger at 126. In fact, I doubt it.

Hamed would stop donaire or when a decision....mid 90s hamed was a freak of nature with the footspeed, reflexes, and power...he threw combos and out of the two his power was better..nonito depends on timing the left took much and hamed was susceptible tp straight punches, not hooks or looping shots both would suffer kds
Late 90s to 2001 hamed would land the harder shots...nonito would be land a few more punches by a kds would win for hamed
Kevin Kelley decked him hard, Sanchez had him buzzed and knocked him down as did multiple others
Barrera and others visibly hurt him.
He had a good chin at best, it certainly was not ATG material.
Getting decked doesn't necessarily mean you were hurt. The Kevin Kelly first KD for example, Hamed was on the attack and pulled straight back with his chin in the air. He bounced straight back up and was clearly not hurt.
its not a clean, cut victory, Hamed has a chance because of his power and when he was at his absolute peak, his speed too and Donaire has lost a lot in his move to 126 but I just think he would eek out a win.
Donaire doesn't have a significant win at 126. Hamed is worlds better than him at that weight class. More power, more speed, better chin, better opposition. Not very close at that weight IMO.

Both men have terrific chins and recuperative powers but at 126 I think Donaire may be a bit too big, too strong and with better fundamentals. A tight, close decision win with maybe a KD thrown in.

Hamed would KO Donaire, people sometimes use his arrogance against him, his chin was good he had tremendous recuperation abilities.
I think if that Hamed was fighting today he'd be feared in the FW division.
Yes, definitely hurts him if he gets hit. But if Hamed misses, he gets Montiel'ed on the other end. I would love to see this fight, edge-of-your-seat excitement!
Donaire won't have that size/strength advantage over Hamed as he did Montiel. Plus Montiel is nowhere near Hamed's league. Just don't see anything like that happening.
