Why not Froch vs Hopkins now?

He have better options at 168 (Chavez, Kessler 3, and probably Golovkin). Hopkins' style will present problem for Froch.

That's probably a terrible matchup for Froch, and they're a division apart anyway.

why would you want the second best fighters in two different to fight each other rather than challenge the top guy? froch obviously wants no part of ward, but still. if it was up to me thats what i would want to see. hopkins earned his shot at stevenson, he wants it and he is gonna get it. The worst fight that can be made for Froch. I actually think Froch would be thrown out of there if he fought Hopkins. It would be a horrible mess. There would be plenty of rough stuff and Hopkins would sell it. Froch has problems with guys that are light on their feet, move around a lot. I think Hopkins is a perfect match up for Froch. Froch has never been outhustled in close quarters and i don't think Hopkins could stop him, although Hopkins is a bit bigger so it could be interesting to see how it would go down. Because they are probably the only two active and still relevant boxing legends that could fight (besides Pac and Floyd). The other guys in their divisions aren't on their level, except Ward. Compared to them they're all up and comers, even Chavez Jr.

I think that's the best fight for both guys right now, they're on a level of their own right now and any other fight for them is a waste of time they don't have. Zero Interest. Froch has too many HUGE payday options now. Chavez will get him $6-10 million. Ward II in England..at least $8-10 million GGG will get him $6-8 million I know that styles make fights but if you look at common opponents, it is a mismatch for Froch. :boxing::boxing::boxing:
