If he can carry his power up to 140 and keep fighting like he did in the 3rd and 4th rounds versus Vetyeka, it's not impossible. He's gonna break the record.:notworthy

It is really hard and I don't think he have time and ability to do it.
Donaire relies a lot to his speed and power and he is already 31.
As a fighter, he doesn't really have high workrate.
His next fight will probably rematch this November.
I'm pretty sure he will want to fight other 126 champions as all of them are beatable. That makes move to 130 won't happen soon
He cried his way to a fight stoppage just to get this win man. Matthysse would hit him one time and lift him off of his feet.
keep believing that fantasy and don't wake up from it, Donaire just had his world title in his 5th division with one eye against head and elbow.

Put an ass-whooping on Vetyeka with one eye clear, UP and READY to fight the 5th round. And you see it as 'cried his way to a fight stoppage'?
All the top dogs at 130 to 140, wait, Donaire is coming for you.

:crackhead
Are you High.
He could it's not impossible, but only if he's selective and preys on the weakest strap holders.
I don't like Donaire and I haven't had a chance to watch the fight in full just caught the last round. But Donaire isn't that great IMO really overhyped.
I personally barely rank him in the top 10 among 122-126 and think he get chewed up among the bigger names 130+
This bum will maybe get 5, if he fishes for belts. He has average skill level with great fundamentals. Not worthy to be a boxing elite.
He reminds me of Malignaggi with more power.
Damn, you used boxrec and still got it wrong...:lol1:
What are you talking about? Boxrec doesn't list the Ring Title...it's not a title anyway...and in which fight did he fight for the Featherweight Ring Title? He drew with Marquez for the Featherweight Championships...that was the only time...so for me it's still 7 division championships and since you don't count the IBO title, it should be 6!
Manny is not an 8th division champ! Just check his record on boxrec.com!
He held the following titles:
Flyweight (WBC)
Super Bantamweight (IBF)
Super Featherweight (WBC)
Lightweight (WBC)
Light Welterweight (IBO)
Welterweight (WBO)
Light Middleweight (WBC)
This makes 7 divisions championships! I don't know where this 8th division title comes from?!

Donaire is not built like Manny. This is what is hurting Nonito's career. He already looks slower and has noticeable fat around his body at this weight. Manny was ripped and draining his body at lower weights. He was also younger. Really Donaire's best weight to me was Bantamweight.
^I'll bump this thread in 3 years dude!
You are a douche bag or dick rider of epic proportions.
Or you're just Larry Merchant, who is currently being fisted by Nonito as he is crying over a pic of Floyd

He definitely don't look his age. He's freaking sharp, fast, powerful and scary right there. And he's blitzing Vetyeka with his rights (good news). One more fight at 126 and I want him to jump to 130! Give Donaire an active 2-3 more years and he's gonna erase Pac's record. Mark it.
Any way to get away from Rigo.
