Since my question got blatantly ignored in another thread, I decided to ask it on a wider scale. Please fill me in, I'm not being a smart ass. Honestly.
Haymon can get fighters a good payday fighting bums but He also robs his fighters of super paydays by not making the big fights....
Maidana bargaining was compromised because Haymon was trying to cater to Floyd's minimum guarantee........

IT's my understanding Haymon, while serving his own needs, does compensate fighters hansomly. I think from a historical standpoint, many fighters were always victims of bad deals and being taken advantage of.
Plus his experience in promotional endevours outside of boxing gives him weight in the live entertainment industry.
That said, he's a respected public figure that brings exposure.
the fact that you refer to a boxing (most crooked sport in the world) publication( there to sell magazines) tells me everything i need to know.
do you also believe publications like forbes when they list their annual richest people in the world lists dunn?
i mean of course you have to believe forbes when they pull numbers out of their asses telling people how much money another man (EVEN DRUG LORDS WOW!!!!) has.
you accuse people of believing everything they read but when you read something that suits your agenda you believe it.
you even had the nerve to say innocent until proven guilty but i bet you never gave that benefit of the doubt to pacquiao when it came to all the ped talk.
you are so transparent.
and hypocritical.
There are credible sources and not credible sources. Everything that disproves your wild, non fact based accusations is somehow not a valid resource. ok.
WHen did I say he was guilty of ped use? Manny wasn't in the court of law like Al-it was the court of public opinion. Different standard.
Of course Manny's ped allegations and whether i believed them or not have no bearing on this thread about AL. nice attempt to divert debate.
Fact remains-al haymon is innocent until proven guilty.
Thats right-if a publication that ranks the most powerful people in boxing on an annual basis picks al or ross, tase simply says it isn't credible. typical.
Yeah, imagine that assuming someone is innocent until proven guilty. where does one get a crazy idea like that?

he doesn't have to do anything good for boxing (or you and me for that matter)...his obligation is to his fighters because there is no pension for fighters and no one wants to be getting punched in the head going into their 50's.
He is not a promoter or a sanctioning body, it's a promoters and the sanctioning body job to do what best for boxing....Haymon job is to maximized his fighters revenue and sometimes that means for the least amount of risk.
Haymon is doing his job...advising.
lol at ross greenburg being the most powerful man in boxing. he was never that.
Im not surprised you have already assumed haymon to be not guilty stephen a smith errr i mean big dunn.

Others, for example Ross Greenburg, didn't have a promoters license and he was once considered the most powerful man in the sport.
I forgot-facts are not something you deal with. It's ok. Best year in boxing in 35 years is the one where al is the most powerful and Manny fights once when the year is virtually over.
Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

He sets you up doe, just ask Mayweather, Garcia, and Stevenson. You get the win and get paid, you just get beat up and look like a loser in front of millions of people. No big deal for your boxing legacy, as long as you got paid right?
Now back to all seriousness, can anyone answer the question?
He is great for HIS fighters. They get paid alot more then they would without him. ......berto made millions for fighting low class fighters.
lmfaaoo at a guy who doesnt even have a promoter's license being the most powerful man in sports.
lmmmfaaao you believing whatever you read or hear.
see how that works dunn?
exactly....

If he gets found guilty, then maybe tase would have a point.
As haymon became the most powerful person in the sport, boxing had its best year in almost 35 years according to most of the people who cover the sport.

Attorney Patrick English of Main Events wrote in the complaint, "Defendant Al Haymon holds himself out to be a manager or advisor to professional boxers. In point of fact, as we will explain later in this complaint, he actually operates in the role of promoter."
The complaint alleges that Haymon and Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer have "entered into an alliance," the purpose of which "is to wrest control of Golden Boy from Oscar De La Hoya for their own financial gain."

he's so great for boxing.

he's great for his clients, boxers who want to get paid without fighting anyone with a pulse.
Has Haymon been found guilty of anything yet?
And Maidanas contract said 1.5 but he got more than that.
oooohhhh now we're playing this game?
