He's been fighting guys with zero head movement for years and crap defenses.
Put him vs El Radar, Leonard, Hearns or even Duran and his plus minus percentages become distinctly average. Stop using this statistic please, thanks.
Ofcourse he's accurate u ****ing retards, he's probably the most accurate boxer today. But his accuracy is overrated on an all time scale and his compubox stats are pushed by his fans to make a case as him being the GOAT.
I have yet to see these compubox stats used by Floyd fans as proof of greatness.

Is Floyd known to be accurate? That is untrue, rather when his opponents are going hell for leather trying to ko him, they leave themselves open, ie Pac being ko'ed by JMM.
Floyd used to get caught by nobodies back in the day when Floyd got offensive, and knew he had to change when he faced the big guns.
I watched the Oscar vs Floyd fight a few months ago and I was surprised how much he missed, he was missing ALOT in the middle of the ring
----------
I watched the JMM vs. Pacquiao 4 fight a few weeks ago, and I was surprised how JMM wasn't missing with his right hand, he was landing ALOT, especially in rounds 3 & 6...

2 different eras, stop using this comparison please !!! See how that works
Lol......
If you match any ATG up with other ATG's, of course they're accuracy won't be as great.
People act as if all past ATG's fought only HOF and ATG's, no one else. LOL.
Floyd is for the most part a defensive fighter. Consequently, his opponents are usually more offensive minded.
It's always easier when you have an opponent that is on the offense and trying to hit you. He tends to leave himself open for a counter and tends to be right there in front of you to be hit. So Floyd's numbers naturally go up.
That said, in the Maidana fight, Floyd was not as accurate as what Compubox(Showstats) suggested. Floyd missed quite a bit.
I tell you this he missed a whole lot against Maidana alot more then they would want you to believe.
I noticed that to. I thought Floyd won, but he did not capitalize on openings like he usually does, and when he threw combos they didn't look as sharp, crisp or accurate as they had previous.. Age is slowly creeping up on Floyd..
Not to mention how bias compubox is towards him. He throws so few punches, compubox just expects he will land when he actually throws. He hit glove a lot vs Canelo and Maidana. Maidana made him look clumsy at times.
If you really wanna know accurately how many punches landed, do the research, watch the fight in HD slow motion. I've done this a couple of times myself but it is time consuming.
