LET'S GEEET REAAADY TO RUUUUUMBBBBBBLLLLLLEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
What is your reaction as this is going on?!?
I start jumping with my fists up to my chest, then I headbang my head around in the rumble part, do a weird thing with my mouth (kobe predator mouth), shadow box for 3-4 seconds, do some weird twisted prayer to dark forces lol as I close my eyes (no idea who I send it to) and then bang my fists together like let's do this.
You!???

STFU :trink26:
there really isn't anything like the rush you get from a big fight. i'm a bonafide adreneline junkie, but the rush i get from those activities are different from what i get when i'm watching boxing. i feel like i'm witnessing something extremely important, i feel honored, and i get f#cking stoked for the action.
i'm always afraid that i'll lose that level of love for the sport. i don't get the butterflies regularly the way i used to. sometimes it's certain fights, and sometimes it's when certain things happen in fights but i still get the butterflies when the stars come together.
the hardest i've freaked out prefight was during the staredown for pavlik - taylor 1. i f#cking lost it.
cotto - margarito 1, too. i watched that fight with my best friend and my dad, and i'll never forget it.
I get the mean butterflies when one of my favorite fighters is fighting. But if it's like a fight where I don't really like the guy but want him to win I still feel a bit nervous.
I remember watching Cotto-Margarito 1. I was on deployment and we were in the middle of flight ops. Coincidentally enough it was the busiest we had been that whole day. I was parking jets between rounds and running to the tv right after. It was crowded and packed on that flight deck, jets everywhere. But I was set that I was gonna watch that damn fight. After a while Cotto was so dominant that I wasn't rushing back to the tv as quick. Then I ran back and found Cotto on his knee and the fight being stopped. I was SHOCKED! I couldn't believe it.
I haven't been hyped since PAC vs cotto there facial expression read we bout to f\/ck some sh1t up.
Most of the fights I've seen lately have predetermined endings already so it's like
For the thousands in attendance and the millions watching around the world thank you for giving us 30 dollars a month and 70 dollars for ppv to watch are over matched bull **** that we put on let's get ready to jiiiiiiiiiipppppppp yooooooooouuuu!!!
I start, screaming, punching, doing push ups, shadow boxing...one or all depending how drunk I am. I usually only get tanked on the PPVs or if one of my fav boxers is fighting on any network.
for the truly big fights, the catchphrase is still pretty awesome... but when the atmosphere is crazy and legacy is on the line, when the ref is giving instructions and u see the fighters intensity thats when the adrenaline starts pumping folks
The Buffer part doesn't do it for me anymore. I'm nervous throughout the whole day but I get really going when the first bell rings and the fighters make their way to the center of the ring.
Just thinking about it right now got my heart pumping.

Pretty much this.
Except at one point I go down to a knee and start banging my fist on the floor, pretending it's the ring mat.
it's not during the buffer anouncements, but often when the fighters are getting the final instructions from the ref i'll get amped up.
it's usually just a quick slap of the hands. if i'm drinking beers i'll usually take the final bits of buffer's announcements to pour one into a frosted mug.
