He should go home and not fight till he finds his ball sack again, that performance was pathetic. Yeah Marquez is roided up but still, he was the younger fresher man.
10000000000000! agreed with that, Alvarado had no balls in the fight and the commentators kept hugging his non existent ball sack. Alvarado literally just circled, circled, took shots, threw a few of his own and went back to his pathetic defence. It was ridiculous, I could probably count on one hand the moments when he actually threw combinations.
The wars with Provo and Rios have weakened Alvarado's heart, he just doesn't want it anymore. The younger, braver Mike would've jumped in with wild punches just to try and even the fight or jumped on JMM after the first KD or the second almost KD. Yet he was content with going the 12 rounds.
Sad times, he might as well retire because he doesn't have the speed, skill or power to win fights without his balls.
They'll build him back up. He'll get an easier fight like Antonio DeMarco, but eventually Arum will setup Alvarado/Rios 3. Bradley will needs some W's under his belt too.
Alvarado isn't terrible....he did beat Rios, Herrera (which looks iiight now), Prescott, etc.
But he's limited as f*ck, and looks to have lost something from what he had in 2012-2013. He looked gun shy for the first time.
Take the Rios 3 fight in Denver or wherever, I guess it doesn't matter. He'll lose that fight too though. He's just really bad, I think he'll probably switch trainers but it won't help.
John Molina would spark him too

Yes, Alvarado was frustrating to watch. Circling, boxing. WTF he was a head taller and had a bigger body. The Alvarado who fought Rios would've knocked JMM out.
Rios would have knocked JMM out.
Alvarado should retire. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a bonus from Arum for not winning.
Alvarado fought like he was scared to get knocked out again. Not the same action fighter. Saw a couple glimpses of his old self after JMM hit him hard a couple of times.
Alvarado Rios 3.. is the most makeable... If he loses that, he's done and should retire and enjoy what he has made in his career.
Alvarado shouldn't have even been in there.....Marquez is an ATG but he straight up ducked Provonikov, and everybody knows it. No promotional hold up or anything....he straight fought the guy who lost the previous fight.
Alvarado should have been the guy taking a tune up. I think the Prescott, Rios 2x, Provonikov fights took something out of him. He looked gun shy.
Too many consecutive wars. Prescott, Herrera, Rios twice, Provo and now Marquez (less of a war, more of a beating). He needs 1 or 2 soft touches on undercards and then next year finish the Rios trilogy (Rios should do the same). Loser of that is more or less done, winner will prob get another big fight and payday
He needs to go to WW and take a little break with softer touches. He has taken so many beatings by hard punchers throwing a lot. Prescott, Rios 2X, Prov, JMM.
