Better American Performance Against A British Fighter

Froch won the last couple of rounds against ward who just smothered and spoiled. Mayweather got the most satisfying wins of his career in knocking out the ring magazine fighter of the year in Hatton.

hatton got cheated by Cortez. After all, he was doing so much better work on the inside and in the clinches. Especially with the free hand :rofl:

Both great wins, but Floyd did ko Hatton who was p4p top 10 and a lineal champion

Hatton was the better fighter imo, even out of his weight class, and Mayweather knocked him out. Ward looked good against Froch but it was hardly a spectacular beatdown. Both are good wins

I'll say Mayweather against Hatton. He started off shaky but basically controlled the fight throughout, and scored the KO. At the time no one was saying Hatton's chin sucked, I don't think. Ward was dominant for the majority but faded, and of course didn't score the KO.

There were people genuinely believing Hatton would beat Mayweather, for what it's worth
