:boxing::boxing:
small tribute to one of the best to ever step into that ring fighter of the decade Emmanuel "Manny" Dapidran Pacquiao

After going through this thread my vote now includes Andre Ward along with Timmothy Bradley ... Resume's ..don't just yell out the name of your favorite boxer .. Donaire could also be a shoe in if he start's tearing sh1t apart I want to see him put hands on mikey garcia in the near future
Come on, it's way too early to even guess. There is no "safe bet" here.
Floyd and Manny will be gone in two years and there will still be four years left of the decade.
Ward has a chance, but he is very inactive right now, and a lot could happen in 6 years.
Rigo is not the youngest, and may not get the chance to make the most of what's left of his prime.
If Donaire wins a belt in another division or two, he could be in the running, but the Rigo loss will hurt his chances (unless he avenges it, which is a long shot).
There are guys who have looked very good so far but we don't know how high their ceiling is yet: Canelo, GGG, Kovalev, Mikey Garcia, Crawford etc.
And then there is Roman Gonzalez, who may be an ATG in the making, but he is too small to even have a chance.
joe louis was lineal champ for 25 defenses. wlad was not. ottke was 4 title defenses away from tying louis! why did he retire?
This is decade meaning the last 10 years , not Century
The guy who won titles in 8 different weight classes, Than The Klitschko Brothers, Than Floyd in 4th place The Best Ever Wladamir Klitschko but he doesn't wear a stupid hat he just knows it
he is too boring.
gennady will take that title.
Boring is a matter of personal taste. I find Wladimir entertaining.
Golovkin is too green still, hasn't got enough on his resume.
If Wlad beats Joe Louis's record than he'll win it
If Pacquiao picks up a 9th divisional title, he should win it over Wlad

I'm gonna put names that established themselves in the last decade, mainly Manny, Floyd and Wlad on the back burner.
I really think Bradley, Canelo, Golovkin or Frampton have the best chance of being the best this decade.
Bradley has already done tonnes since 2010. Golovkin could win the lineal MW title and maybe do well at 168 too. Canelo has been on a very good run recently, Trout, Angulo, Floyd and now Lara, He could go on to face some names at 160 and maybe win a couple or continue to win at 154.
Frampton is a real outsider and maybe he never beats Rigo but he could just about beat everyone else in the division, stay active and move up to feather or super feather and win titles there.
Of course Donaire is still in with a shout, Mikey too and how about Danny Garcia?
Danny has to be named alongside Khan and Bradley as the three best light welters post Hatton. He could go on to do well at 147, possibly winning titles over the likes of Porter or Thurman.
if donaire reaches his goal of winning belts in 6-7 weight division, he could probably be it.
ward needs to at least reach the heavyweight division to even be considered fighter of the decade.
rigo has the pedigree but lacks the oomf factor. this ain't the amatuers no more boy
wlad if he adds the wbc belt, then maybe he gets the crown. lennox last did it more than a decade ago and he is considered an ATG for doing so
