We as Boxing fans need Mike Alvarado to beat Juan Marquez

I honestly think it would be nice to have JMM win so Pac can KO him this time. Or vice versa. It's still an interesting fight. I'm not giving Arum any of my money for it though

Manny Pacquiao vs Jesse Vargas PPV :) I have a feeling Alvarado is going to get robbed on the decision and Marquez,Nacho and Arum will be quiet and not cry robbery. Alvarado has to KO Marquez it's the only way.

Sir I agree with this statement, if he can't fight floyd then fight OTHER title holders, make the belts freaking mean something. How's Manny going to fight Ruslan if they are both under Roach? It won't happen. The only fight that makes sense is Pacquiao Mayweather.

Fantastic I am Rican and love my Puerto Rican boxing but I'm a realist. Martinez is going to beat the crap out of a small pudgy middleweight Cotto haha. If Mayweather wants to give Cotto a rematch for a title at 160, then I'm most definitely want Martinez to end those plans. Fair enough.

Martinez vs Cotto is in the same situation. Knowing you're Rican, your mentality is going to change cause of the flag. I mean, who would want a meaningless rematch with Cotto vs Pac/Mayweather? I want the best man to win and that is Marquez. Let Pacquiao be the one to send Marquez off into the sunset. Alvarado winning upsets the natural order of things in boxing. He should put up a good fight and lose so maybe Pacquiao can have a chance to avenge his KO loss to Marquez.

Win or lose against JMM I don't think Mike has any business in the same ring as Pacquiao. Provodnikov beat the brakes of that dude like he stole something, I can't imagine what Pacquiao would do to him.

This Saturday we will be treated to a good fight between Juan Marquez and Mike Alvarado. Marquez is the favorite coming in to this fight and I honestly want him to get knocked out. Always been a fan of the warrior Marquez but its time for him to go off to sunset and retire. Alvarado is due for a solid win on his resume and I think he pulls up the upset over Marquez this Saturday if he not that war torn. A win for Alvarado really throws a monkey wrench in Arum's plan for a fifth and meaningless fight between Pacquiao and Marquez. Even if Alvarado wins there is no way Pacquiao-Alvarado is PPV worthy. I myself wanted it to happen too, Alvarado winning to get rid of Jurassic park 5, anytime soon we may see lots of great match ups in boxing and all Bob Arum has to offer is Pac-Marquez 5.
