I want the WBC belt to be kept in America. I want it to be on at the MGM Grand in the near future on a big PPV, not freeking Bern in Switzerland like Klitschko-Thompson 2. A town with a population of 125,000 in the middle of nowhere.
Keep that belt in America. Leave Deontay Wilder get his mandatory, then have the winner of Perez-Jennings fight the winner of Stiverne-Wilder.
Wladimir has only been fighting the likes of Leapai, Mormeck, Pianeta and Wach lately. Complete and utter bums. Stiverne and Wilder are levels above those guys.
Wladimirs last big win was against David Haye, which was 3 years ago at this stage. Wlad is 38 now, getting on.
Wlad fight the best HW division can offer, it's not his fault the other HW fighter not in his level. and David haye is the last real threat to the klitscko brothers.
This thread is a testament to Wlad's greatness. People are acknowledging that he is so superiour to everybody else that they endorse the creation of a title available to anyone not named Klitschko.
Greatness?
What you need to do is watch Wladimir-Povetkin. That fight was a STINKER. Wladimir got Povetkin to the ground 3 times in round 6 (2 pushes); then the entire first minute of round 7 he didn't even throw a punch. Not a single punch. He just wanted to lean on Povetkin. You saw that didn't you?
Leapai: another stinker. If Mayweather fought an opponent of Leapai's calibre he would have been booed out of the MGM Grand. I'm not joking, he literally would have been booed out. Leapai landed 10 punches in 5 rounds: 2 punches a round. Pitiful, wholly unacceptable, gut wrenching, appaling, deplorable, entirely attrocious.
If you guys think Wladimirs last 2 fights are a sign of "greatness" I don't know what to think. Those last 2 fights are why he won't get a fight in the US. Those last 2 fights are why he won't get a shot at the WBC title.
Can't give you karma for this post but I wish i could.

Knocked it out of the park.
Boxing is a global sport.
Guess what there are places outside of America.
Thanks bro. Nice to see that there's level headed fans in here.
Its ridiculous, isn't it?
They just want to pretend that they have an American HW champ.
It's a shame that Stiverne won because it pretty much rules out a unification bout. King won't go anywhere near Wlad.
Everyone already knows that Wlad is the best heavyweight. So why can't Stiverne keep the belt and milk it for a fight or two?
Arthur Abraham and Stieglitz get to draw good crowds and good money in Germany with their version of the 168 pound belt even though Andre Ward is clearly the REAL champion of the division. How come no one forces them to unify with SOG?
Or look at Felix Sturm. How many times has he been allowed to hold a middleweight belt hostage over there while avoiding Golovkin like the plague?
I think it's only fair that Stiverne should get to apply this "European strategy" if he wants to. Plus if handled correctly it will make the build up to a potential unification bigger and more lucrative for everybody involved.
America is becoming a second rate power as it is.
So sure, why not throw them a crumb and have their own regional heavyweight champion the way that Europeans do it in the 154-168 landscape with the WBO and IBF belts.
Second rate to who?
this is wilder's division. everyone else is just a ko1 waiting to happen. we saw what happened when scott tried to box wilder...ko1! we saw what happened when z-man tried to rush and ko wilder....ko1! there's literally nothing you can do to stop from being ko 1'd.

Because he's fighting tomato cans, put Fury in there who is actually taller than him and I think problems could be caused.
If he beats Chisorra he'll get his shot. Previously he rejected the offer to fight Wlad, same as Wilder did.
They got some time and lets see if they can do anything. IMO it won't be any different, apart from Fury promptly goes from 'actually taller, problems could be caused' to 'bum who hits himself'...
'if tyson, lennox, louis were here, bla bla...' mark my words!
If I'm going to be honest, no I don't give a f*ck. I would rather se decent competitive matchups like we saw last night and bring a bit of life back to the HW division.
They don't need a paper title for that.
So you are not interested in having an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
I cannot believe some people. :nonono:

Wlad's problem is that no one can cause him any problems.
Lets hope Fury or Wilder build themselves and pump some hype.

Stiverne can fight Fury for the commonwealth title after he loses the WBC then let's just have an anglo-saxon boxing league to make sure they can keep their belts.
What do you want to see, Wlad hug him to a decision then defend the belts against Mormeck, Pianeta, Wach and Leapai while the other heavies avoid each other?
No, let the Haitian fight the top Americans and Brits, let's get some good fights on the go.
Sure' we're better off with someone who went life and death with 40 year old Ray Austin. :nonono:
No but what I am questioning is weather they are going to make it entertaining or not, there's a reason Wlads last fight was on Eurosport 2.

Are you questioning the willingness of the challengers for the biggest title in sports? Seriously?
No but what I am questioning is weather they are going to make it entertaining or not, there's a reason Wlads last fight was on Eurosport 2.
The game is about hit and not get hit. Not entertain the crew by being KOed.
You don't like it, don't watch it. Simple!
I'm not saying that either, I don't actually mind watching Wlads fights he's a master at what he does, but I think leaving that belt to make some interesting match-ups is the best idea IMO cause some great fights can be made now, how can you not agree with that.
