According to danish tabloid ekstrabladet, the call to Kessler promotor Sauerland, was from Tom Loefler who promotes Kazakh sensation Gennady Golovkin. Loefler asked if Kessler was ready for a fight in Las Vegas against Golovkin in July. The thought of Kessler fighting in July was immidiately shot down as the dane needs 4 to 6 months to get into fighting shape.
