Floyd is MUCH bigger than Manny.
Manny turned pro at 17 at minimumweight. He won the Flyweight title at age 20 and defended it at age 21. Flyweight is 112 pounds.
Floyd was fighting as a pro at 130 at age 19 (he was 133 for a fight before his 20th birthday). Manny won the 112 title at 20 defended the 112 title at age 21.
Floyd is MUCH bigger than Manny. That's why he calls him a "midget".
Floyd has since grown into becoming a big welterweight. He couldn't even make the catch weight for his fight with the much smaller JMM.
Right but Pacquaio was killing himself to make those lower weights.
On fight night, they've always weighed about the same weight at their respective ages.
Pacquaio is smaller but it's hardly by much.
Even today they're about the same weight come fight night.
"Big Welterweight?" :lol1: what kind of big Welterweight rehydrates 1 lb after the weigh in?
first of all, Pac is a shot fighter
secondly, he admitted yrs ago he's too small to fight at JMW
he was recently talking about going back down to JWW
don't believe this MW crap for a second, Pac at MW is a joke
And he is shot based on what?
And I don't think its likely but I wouldn't rule it out

Pacquiao was able to fight at lower weight classes at an older age is because he cut a sh1t load of weight..just check my sig! While Floyd was moving up and fighting bigger guys, Pacquiao stayed behind and cut 16lb to beat smaller guys lol. All you have to do is check their fight night weights, they are roughly the same at their respective ages. regardless of Floyd being an inch or 2 taller, Pacquiao makes up for it by having a denser body.
you dumbasses, there was no rehydration clause in the delahoya fight :lol1:
There might as well have been. Oscar only reydrating to exactly 147lb is very suspect...
What Are you trying to say here? I know that there was a re hydration clause. I was pointing out how wrong people are when they say that Floyd is much bigger than Pacquiao and so use that as an excuse as to why Pac can't fight at 154lb.

Link for that rehydration clause?
Its probably cause Floyd is taller, lots more reach, calls Pac "midget" and is only in his 4th division at welter, unlike Pac who's in his 7th having started like 10 divisions down. Floyd can't even unify his 5th without a weight stipulation lol
Pacquaio turned pro at a much younger age though so naturally he's going to smart at a lower weight class if he's turning pro at 15 or whatever age he was.
Floyd turned pro at age 19 or 20 I think.
I agree, Manny "cherrypicking" at MW is really not a problem. But if he beats the oldest and weakest MW titlist he can find at a catchweight, and goes around calling himself a 9 division world champion... that will be a problem.
I feel that way about the Margarito & David Diaz fights...not because he fought them but because all the glory that came with those wins from a particular fan base.

Because of a rehydration clause!
You think that De La Hoya is ONLY going to rehydrate to 147?????? lol! Same deal with the Cotto fight.

Sergio destroys Cotto and then tucks Manny in for nap time before he rides off into the sunset as one of the greatest of all time.
:lol1: This isn't even a subtle troll.
Wtf? Did I just read this right?
Pacfans are so retarded. Pac's last 5 opponents have a combined 9 fights at welterweight in their entire careers (counting their fights with Manny)
Smoke and mirrors. The Fighting Fraud of the Philippines.

Hey moron, its been explained to you that a 147 rehydration is impossible in more ways than one. But love how you wanna use the same excuse for CW prince Cottos demolition by pac
