After watching the fight five times. Mayweather won 7-5. I emotionally posted Sunday morning that I thought Maidana won a close fight or it was a draw BUT once keying in on what mattered in the fight, Floyd won 7 rounds to 5 rounds. His accuracy won him the fight. I think that he is definitely aging and that he needs to retire now. He couldn't dominate a C Level fighter and that's saying something. He was getting caught with jabs and punches to the body he shouldn't have been getting hit with. I can see Floyd weaknesses too. All of this talk about TBE but he's just another great fighter, not an ATG. Had he been fighting fighters as good as him, or other A Level fighters, he would have about 2-3 losses by now. He was semi exposed Saturday night and he is somewhat embarrassed and that's why he is up for a rematch. Since when does Floyd scream rematch when victorious? He is wasting time and up to trickery once again. That card was the best of the year so far but $75.00, shows you that he also thinks he's bigger than the sport and that he's concerned with the fans not purchasing his pay-per-views. How else could Showtime provide a $32million dollar guarantee?
Honesty.......
I try and be honest about whatever I post. Even if one disagrees with my posts, which happens often, at least they can respect it. We have a lot of immature guys popping up here and they just like to argue and they aren't really boxing fanatics; they are just fans. In the ring, I've always liked Floyd BUT I think he is bad for the sport with his antics, lack of risks, and thinking he is bigger than a sport that's been around for more than a Century. If he was more humble, he'd be admired in the same way as Ali, Leonard, Holyfield, De La Hoya, Chavez Sr., and Manny Pacquiao. He hangs around a lot of ignorant people like Lil Wayne and that's why Garcia cracked him with that water bottle after the fight.
It's good to see Pac fans be sensible about this. I like Pac too and it's embarrassing to see people who think that they must hate Floyd, by default, just because they like Manny. Even for those who genuinely hate Floyd for legit reasons, it's shameless to lie about what really happened.
Fair assesment. It was a close fight and even though the majority of fans saw Chino winning, I can understand those who perhaps scored it by 1-2 rounds for floyd.
I had Chino winning by 2 points watching it live. After rewatching it about 10 times lol, I have Chino winning by 3 points clearly.
The majority of whose fans?
