Floyd has always been able to get by doing things his own way whether it be his training and conditioning or his not really listening to his trainers in the corner, etc, but now that he is older, should he get a fitness and nutritionist like Alex Ariza in his camp ?
I think he better do something different or that "O" will definitely go over his next 3-4 fight if he keeps fighting younger and bigger opponents.
Floyd should have phucked Chino up the other night with quick hands on the inside and or danced and boxed him then broke him down with speed and combinations but he didn't and I'm not buying the story about him giving the fans a fight they wanted to see.
I had Mayweather by an 8-4 difference because he was the better and cleaner fighter with much crisper shots, but from the walk to the ring until the end, something seemed off. A change is in order and I think shaking up his camp a bit with a guy like Ariza might be the perfect antidote.
Thoughts ?
Ariza's fighters do well because they are very good fighters with great trainers. Ariza has no magic and he couldn't help Rios beat Pacquiao. Ariza has a good job working with Garcia's fighters. He won't throw that away to train with Mayweather for a few fights. Mayweather is always in shape but he just got his ass kicked. It happens and no strength trainer can change it.
After what Roach told us, no one shud hire Alex Ariza
Roach is still pissed Ariza gave him the Kung Fu treatment. Other than the weight loss stuff Rios got popped on has any Ariza fighter ever come up dirty ? On All Access it seemed like he had a pretty scientific and involved system. One that Floyd could benefit from in the twilight of his career, I'm sure. Manny too.
