The red gloves were approved but Floyd didn't want Maidana fighting with any of the "puncher gloves". Floyd wanted Maidana to fight with a "boxers" glove. So imagine, they promoted Maidana as this KO artist but just before the fight, they removed the most important article, which were the gloves that he is accustomed to and likes to fight with.

Everlast and cleto Reyes should sue mayweather for claiming their gloves are illegally/improperly padded. All I saw Floyd do was try and tarnish their image. Hopefully they do.
