To All My FELLOW Floyd HATERS: Stop It, Floyd Won that Fight

Dwyer is one of the better youtubers IMO regarding boxing. and teddy atlas This dude says he knows boxing :-) so i had to listen to his substance to learn. Bruce Blitz Atlas makes really good points, especially on the glove debacle starting at 6:15 ..I too didn't think Chino landed enough for it to be a controversial issue that comes into play. I haven't had a chance to rewatch the fight, but I scored it 8-4 Floyd.., where I felt Chino convincingly won 3 rounds, and gave him another later on due to him being the more active that round.

Im one of yall, still am, but come on, Floyd won that fight. Chino shocked floyd early with his unabashed aggression and intent to end floyd but as the middle to late rounds came, Floyd as usual figured out Maidana and started ripping him with counters from straight gut shots, ripping him with straight rights, counter hooks, floyd landed the cleaner shots. Maidana did well with his awkward aggression but a lot of his shots did not land and floyd was able to slip and block a lot of those punches. I had it 7 rounds to 5 for floyd. I wouldnt have a problem with anybody giving floyd 8-4. Anything farther would be a pro floyd homer score. Anything closer than 7-5 or worse if you actually think Maidana won that fight then you are just letting your hate for floyd blind you. There are plenty of reasons for you to hate on Floyd like not letting Maidana wear commission approved gloves is just one of the biggest b*tch made moves i have ever seen in boxing. Typical floyd. It almost equals dictating what drug test your opponents should take. BE A GOOD HATER. DONT BE A DISHONEST HATER. STOP GIVING HONEST HATERS LIKE MYSELF A BAD NAME. Agree. Floyd fans are amongst the most annoying out there. But let's be real. He outlanded Maidana and landed 65%~ of his power punches. lol

Not a floyd fan but I'm not mad that floyd won. I thought he squeaked the win out imo. Close fight but Maidana was running out of gas near the end. BUT the whole glove situation was some bull. Watching him holding on to Maidana while complaining to the ref was hilarious. Not to mention his whole "I'm the A-side" speech after the fight. He may have won the fight but he's losing the respect of boxing fans. Pretty sure he doesn't care though.

Whats even more halarious is the post fight press conference. Mayweather brought up all his fake ass friends he had to try and convince himself that he wont he fight. Just like when the chant TBE lol, no one else is saying so he has to literally PAY his people to say it, to help him believe his bs. good fight though.

^^^^^^^^ Agreed some people care to much about red / green bars , some people on here think its resume worthy to be in the green, How does the green red stuff works??? It seems pro pacman supporters or anti FMJ are usually in the green. People who dont agree with the hate regarding FMJ or are critical towards Pacman/Arum are in the red. Is there anyone who can explain the system :) Who can give and take away the green and reds??

Floyd Looked "pretty" in some rounds and won a couple in the 2nd half, but Maidana would come back with a sustained body attack and hooks to the head, which were also the harder blows. Alot of those body shots landed, people dont want to give chino his credit. Floyd got out worked, Maidana was not flashy, but effected through the fight. Chino didn't even break a sweat, while mayweather was *****ing his shorts the whole fight. Just look at the end of the fight, Mayweather and his team thought he lost with a bad performance.

I did not score the fight, but I thought it was close for Floyd. I was watching it with about 15 people, all Hispanics if that even matters, including 2 Floyd haters, and no one was in disagreement with the winner but all of them felt that was Floyd's toughest fight to date, including me. Floyd was really in tough there. I was never nervous for Floyd, but all I can think of is how can people call Maidana a bum on the internet? I mean yeah he's clearly a brawler, but he's a very good brawler who like I told my friend, is the type to give boxers problems. First he beats the crap out of Ortiz, then totally humiliates Broner, and now gives Floyd IMO the toughest fight of his past prime career, and top 5 all time toughest over all. Castillo, Maidana, De La Hoya, Cotto, Augustus. I'll say one thing though, Maidana missed a whole lot of punches and I was surprised to see in Shostats that he landed just 10 less than Floyd, of course he threw double what Floyd threw but still from what I saw, it did not look like he landed many punches. It was his swarming style that made Floyd uncomfortable and made Floyd lose rounds due to inactivity from being on the defensive from constant punches being thrown at him.

and you cared enough to find a way to get from red to green when i see red, it means their opinion isn't worth noting...its an easy way to sift thru the sh1t on this site Sorry, but no I did not care enough to find a way to anything.
