Khan is the new Wlad Klitchko. Punch punch lean, punch punch tie up. Dirty fighter
It's difficult not to tie up when your opponent comes at you head first with his head down by your gonads.
Yes Khan was pressing him down and holding but what else was he going to do? Collazo never stayed upright when he came inside.
Good win for Amir I was going for Collazo, but don't ylu think your pumping his tires too excessively. Collazo a decent fighter but he's old on the decline and maybe a top 15-20 WW. This was a fight Khan was supposed to win, Collazo just got some traction because he beat an absolute heartless Ortiz.
Khan looked real good though, best in years lets see him step up in competition and see how he does.
plain and simple hater!
You aint wrong brother :lol1:
But it dont change the facts that he is increasingly becoming a more dirty fighter. Collazo had to hit him in the nuts to prove a point. Some poor reffing too.
Amir Khan displayed a granite chin, and supreme boxing skills in his thorough tapestry over Collazo.
Floyd is a *****.
leonard vs duran both top fighters
khan vs collazo was kind of a mismatch
different...
but khan did good doe
good win
Khan is so feather fisted .
I understand Callazo is tough but khan should have put him away .
He had no defence and was walking straight through anything khan could throw .
Khan has no power at 147
GTFOH Khan Put him down 3 times Collazo is just tough and Khan new he was up big and didn't want to get careless!
Utterly laughable post. Did you even watch the fight?. You do realise Collazo was dropped thrice?. You do realise Collazo was the former light middleweight champion of the World?.
He hit Callazo with everything and couldn't stop Him and Callazo was walking in not throwing anything .
I think most top guys at 147 would have stopped him .

Khan executed his strategy perfectly. He kept the fight on the outside. Virgils biggest influence on Kahn besides making him more disciplined is showing kahn how to clinch to avoid fighting on the inside/exchanges. A less lenient ref may have taken more points away for clinching.
Collazo went out with the Randal Bailey strategy of one big shot coupled with the homer simpson defensive strategy.
Props to Khan. Thurman, broner, danny, maidana, and even Mayweather are all possible fights (if he stays at 147). I would like to see him against thurman or garcia, that would test his discipline and if he wins would put him front of the line in mayweather sweepstake. His power didn't seem to carry over which can be worrisome, but that may have been because Collazo is really tough/good chin.

LOLL you serious? The dude got dropped 3 times.
You're comparing Collazo to Duran and Khan to Leonard?
:lol1:
Also, FYI : Leonard/Duran 2 was a close, competitive fight up until the point where Duran quit. So your comparison tells us that A.) You never watched Leonard/Duran 2 and only saw clips on Ray's "Beyond the Glory", and 2.) You suck at making comparisons.
You do realise they didn't even have a fridge in Greb's day?. With todays modern techniques and sports nutritionists, i simply don't see how it would be farfetched to compare a Duran to a Maidana or a Leonard to a Collazo.

Lost money betting he'd do the Booty Dew. :(
I did too, that's why I've got to give him props. Let's not forget Khan is a lightweight fighting a middleweight in this instance.
Also Shame EPO'sley could barely put a dint in Collazo.
