How would fo having his on gloves helped him?

A good example as someone pointed out before For Morales/Pac 1, they wore the Winning gloves instead of the Reyes gloves that Pacquiao wanted. After the first fight, some quotes from media were: “Manny is a puncher. That’s his big advantage. Reyes are puncher’s gloves. He lost on all three cards 115-113. Don’t you think if he would have used his (normal) gloves, he could have won one more round? If he’d have won one more round it’s a draw." For Morales/Pac 2, Pac wore his puncher's gloves. We all know what happened in fights 2 and 3 with the different gloves. very interesting. I know very little about the sport of boxing in terms of competing. So all I wanted to know is is chaging gloves not just a mental thing but a major physical thing? As shown by you here. cheers

Maidana says he couldn't even close his fist with the gloves Mayweather made him use. That tells you all you need to know. The gloves felt uncomfortable to Marcos so of course he's not going to punch the same.

I scored the fight a draw for the record. As much as I hate Floyd. it was o robbery. Although the scoring margains were poor. 117-11 is a disgrace. However my main question is Would having his own gloves made any difference and why??? Does it effect how you throw, or does it give him more heavy hands??? For the record chck out my Khan beats Floyd thread I did ages ago. No way Floyd beats Khan. There could have possibly been a brutal stoppage.

Alot from confidence in having your choice and preferd gloves. to the definite increase in power from foam padded to horse hair. maidana pretty munch fought with floyds grants just with and everlast logo. maidana body shots would have had more effect and there was this right hand that landed perfectly when flod was coming in (the only really significant shot i saw land on mayweathers face besides keep busy jabs) that i though immediatly if maidana had the mx he would have kd or at least wobbled floyd.

They could have helped him or they could have not, the thing is that Floyd didn´t want to take the risk and that's telling.

enough for mayweather to pay him off to use other gloves.
