How did you score Mayweather vs Maidana?

Maidana won the fight 7 rounds to 5. Damn shame that the judges weren't scoring body shots in that fight. What 7 rounds did you give him?

Same as me. Only difference between our cards is you gave Floyd the 3rd and Maidana the 4th. I gave Maidana the 3rd and Floyd the 4th. Both close rounds. Floyd performance in the second half is what pulled it out. I agree. From round 6 on was the difference in the fight.

Maidana came to fight. He pushed Mayweather to the brink and almost pulled off the upset. I thought Maidana fought extremely dirty, but if the ref doesn't stop you from rabbit punching, low blows, or headbutting then why stop? Maidana made the fight rough and tough. Even though I think Mayweather won, I think he only won by a couple of rounds. I would not have been upset with a draw.

Not of, I had over 20 people at my house, and it was loud, etc. Thought Floyd won a close, tough fight live, and rewatching affirmed that. Gave Chino Rounds 1,4,5,8 if I'm not mistaken, wrote it down at home. But from round 6 ahead (save round 8), I thought Floyd threw more punches and landed pretty much at will. Go back and watch footage. Lamotta, who deserves all the props he gets, was more or less a slow come forward fighter, who was relentless. Not much difference. He made Robinson struggle. Lamotta lost tons of fights to low level fighters. He definitely wasn't an A-level guy, not an elite fighter of that era. Lamotta is definitely an elite fighter of that era and an A level fighter.

Floyd's punches werent very powerful or effective. he was basically slapping. not impressed by Floyd's defense or offense at all but i have no problem with the decision. i dont have a problem with maidana winning as well after viewing it a 3rd time

8-4 Mayweather. you cant score a fight based on punch thrown they have to actually land. Pretty much this. I don't understand all this talk about bodywork. Maidana's shots to the body were either smothered, blocked, or landed on Floyd's back (which is -not- a legal or clear shot). As a side note, I'm surprised Maidana was't taken a point off after his blatant attempt to knee Floyd , not to mention the rabbit punches. El chino fought like a leaner (rip) Tony Galento. Ballsy display, but no way he won.

I had the fight a draw at 114-114. I would like to see the rematch immediately. Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana II Danny Garcia vs. Lucas Matthysse II Peter Quillin vs. Daniel Jacobs Omar Figueroa vs. Jorge Linares I'd buy that card right now, or hell even drive from LA to Vegas to go see it.

round 1: Maidana round 2: Mayweather round 3: Maidana round 4: Maidana(close rd) round 5: Maidana (hurt floyd momentarily too) round 6: Maidana (Very close rd, Maidana beat the crap out of floyd for a full 2 minutes and 30 seconds, floyd did some nice work in the last 30 seconds of the rd, besides that, did nothing besides a nice uppercut earlier, gave it to maidana due to his overall body of work) round 7: Mayweather round 8: Maidana (rolled/slipped majority of mayweather's punches, worked the hell out of floyds body, landed a beautiful hook and overhand) round 9: Mayweather (clear round, maidana did nothing, floyd landed alot) round 10: Mayweather round 11: Mayweather round 12: Mayweather (really close rd, mayweather was more consistent, so i gave it to him) draw or should the sixth be given to floyd, mayweather by a point

I don't think it was so much Floyd looked slower or older, his hand speed and foot speed was the same. Maidana just fought a much smarter fight then Guerrero or Canelo. They let Floyd do his thing in the middle of the ring, Guerrero smothered all his work on the ropes. Maidana really had success the first 6 rounds, though Floyd still landed often as well, particularly the 2nd where I felt he won the round, and the 5th. Floyd then took over the 2nd half. Take the beer goggles off, and tell me who landed most of the punches rounds 7-12.....it was Floyd clearly, though Chino still made him work. Canelo and Guerrero naturally fight better going backwards or fighting in the middle of the ring. This is why they were very ineffective vs Mayweather. Maidana's natural style is to come forward and be as awkward as possible, I had it a draw but I can't object to either guy winning on anybody's card, the fight had a lot of those weird rounds anybody else starting to see a trend with Floyd, when he gets frustrated he tends to exchange/trade with his opponent, he did it vs Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto and Maidana last night
