They will embark on a four-city promotional tour with stops in Los Angeles, San Antonio, New York and Puerto Rico(:dunno:) with all four stops being open to the public for free.
They kick things off on Tuesday at the El Pueblo Historical Monument in Los Angeles at 1 p.m. PT. Then it’s off to San Antonio for a stop at the Downtown Historic Market Square at 1 p.m. CT. The crew heads to New York for a stop on Thursday at the Hard Rock in Times Square at 1:30 p.m. ET. And they finish on Friday at the Ritz-Carlton in San Juan Puerto Rico at 1 p.m. AST.
They should have their girlfriends/wives abort babies and then threaten to cancel the fight if the sun doesn't shine on a certain number of days. Since NSB apparently believes those are techniques designed to sell a fight. Gotta count those 10 people who might actually buy a PPV for so stupid a reason.
A stop to Puerto Rico is pretty ****ing ridiculous.
I find it pretty stupid (or maybe done purposely) that a Cuban is fighting and they're not stopping in Miami.
How does Lara benefit from any of these stops? Sure he trains in SA but that's mostly Mexicans there. Maybe NY but that place is a melting pot. And PR? Wtf

Golden Boy trying to use the Mexico/Puerto Rico rivalry, thinking Puerto Ricans will side with the Cuban just to see a Mexican boxing star lose. Far-fetched but possible.
