925k Is what i think it will do roughly.. I dont think maidana is a big enough name like jmm, shane, cotto, for it to break past a million.. This one will fall just short of the million mark, similar to the hatton fight

There's only 5 fights that went 1.5 mil plus I doubt that number is there break even point that would be foolish.

He's guaranteed 32 million at minimum. It already has a 15 million dollar gate. That's a remaining 17 million dollars that the event has to generate. At a price of 75 dollars which is the price in the US. It could do 700,000 buys, and it would still generate $52,500,000. You take his extra 17 million out of there for his purse. And thats still $35,500,000. And that's at a bare minimum of 700k buys, which in all likelihood it would bring in more than that. If the fight brings in the million its expected too. thats $75,000,000. Where the hell is the SHO losing money? They're making more money than they ever have. Fro their to be a negative differential. With the PPV price, this card would have to do 400k buys. 400k times 75 = $30000000 plus the live gate = 45,000,000. Even then there'd still be a profit. His purse isn't big enough for them to take losses. This fight would have to tank on some next level s--t for them to take a loss. Maybe something like 350K buys. CBS isn't stupid.

They didn't do a press tour or prefight media promotion tour so Showtime knows this might not sell to well, if it does over 1 million that will be a success, but still not good enough for Showtime and Goldenboy to see any major profit they will take another L financially, the only one who wins is Mayweather he gets the majority of the money. I can't wait for him to retire can't stand his money grubbing ways and cherry picked opponents.

IMO the Ghost fight showed us Floyd's drawing power. I don't even remember te undercard, Floyd basically carried that by himself and it did 800k.
