I see many people disliking Khan for talking about Mayweather, but what everyone needs to realise is. If interviewers keep asking the dude about mayweather he'll keep talking about mayweather. This is something you need to realise how can he turn down the questions bombarded on him and say 'Sorry' I have no answer for this and can't talk about it. You know how stupid Uk media is? They keep asking him same Mayweather related questions over and over again lmao. I see Khan was kind of getting frustrated in an inverview today on Boxnation when the interviewer keep asking him same sh*t about Mayweather over and over again and I was like wtf is English press upto now a days? Same with dailymail.
I don't have a problem with Khan. He fights everyone and lays it all on the line. But let's not act like he hasn't ran his mouth off about a Floyd fight. Sure he gets asked, but trying to hammer home how a Mayweather-Khan fight is absolutely necessary has gotten pretty tired.
Some people seem to dislike him for being delusional about his skills.
What do you want him to think? That he sucks?
I think little of him beyond his speed and jab, but what is he supposed to do? Not answer the questions or go "my footwork stinks, my defense is poor, I can't in-fight, I have 1% of Floyd's ring IQ"??
He's supposed to think he can win.
You're asking way too much sense from NSB with this one.
Another thing, wouldn't any professional boxer in the world jump at and do all they could for a shot at Mayweather?
No not because of the money.
But for the chance to shock the world.
Do something 45 have failed to do.
Take Mayweather's undefeated record.
Wouldn't they all want to do that(no matter how little a chance you think they have to do so) ?
So why does Khan get all the hate for even being considered by Floyd.
If he's so bad and hasn't earnt the fight, then why the fck did Floyd even mention his name and put him in the sweepstakes in the first place? :lol1:
These 'tards are criticising the cherry for being picked. :lol1:
Surely the hate should be going to the one who's actually picking the cherries no?

After the Kindelan rematch? LOOL you are just chatting ****, man, why all this hate? Nobody in the UK knew who Mayweather was before Oscar
sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet this place needs boxing fans
Didn't make myself clear. I've seen Khan since the start. But he was talking big after smashing Graham Earl. He was meant to fight Murray and the fight went to purse bids but his then manager, Ol Fish Eyes Warren scuppered it anyway. He and Khan were looking to bigger things with their new SKY deal. That's when he started mentioning those names.
There's no hate, no malice, just facts. Khan mentioned Mayweather long before the press did. I didn't say it was wrong, just that it happened therefore the heartfelt plea of this thread is wrong.
I'm not blaming Khan. He was led to think he had a fight with Mayweather because he won the poll. Having said that, I hope Collazo wins so we don't have to see Mayweather-Khan.
Who said anything about realistic opponents? I've seen Khan since his "rematch" with Kindelan and he was pronouncing himself beyond the likes of Murray and Mitchell, stating: "in a couple more fights these guys won't be able to touch me". I'm looking towards guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao".
Nothing wrong with ambition or calling out the big guns at all. But the TS is acting like it was the press who put Mayweather's name in Khan's mouth when they certainly didn't. What I posted isn't BS and I don't need to call names to make that point.

thts so much bs, he didn't mention mayweather as a realistic opponent around the time of prescott. i remember the entire build up to that fight, most of the talk centered around change in trainer. your crazy mafuka.
personally i find nuttin wrong with young fighters calling out the best around them. add to that khans callin out of floyd began when khan was the best at 140 and bradley ducked him, over the last few months this increased as floyd sent him a contract, not the other way around.

Khan has been spouting Mayweather's name since before Prescott knocked him out. He has been constantly mentioning him and not seeminglt focusing on who he's fighting (a la Garcia). Don't be naive and act like the press just started it. Or that it began with that silly poll. It's been going on for a while and Khan is the victim of something HE started. He could just say: "I'd love to fight Mayweather but my focus is on my next opponent *insert name*". That takes care of that. Cry me a river.

Have you noticed Danny Garcia does not get asked much about fighting Mayweather yet when you consider things fully he is a far better candidate for the fight. I wonder why? Spare me the poor victim Khan touch,it does not wash. There are reasons Khan keeps being asked about Mayweather reasons of his own making. If a girl dresses up like a slag it is hardly surprising if she gets treated like one and you can't sympathise with her if she complains that men don't treat her like a lady.Sorry but your post is ridiculous.
You do know that it was Mayweather who put Khan's name in Poll that he won right? also it was almost certain that Khan vs Mayweather will happen & contracts were sent back and forth till about the Poll thing, how can you justify that? Its obvious it'll raise a lot of noise in the media and No Danny's not a far better candidate for the fight. If you look at overall resume Khan has one of the best right now of all the candidates in line to face Mayweather.
exactly.. is he supposed to say "no comment" everytime someone asks about floyd like he's got some kind of gag order against him.. wtf?
i've said it a few times before.. the media asks khan about floyd because having "mayweather" in the title of the story instantly creates more hits for that story, and even more hits with "khan" and "mayweather" in the title... thats how the internet media operates in many cases, it's just logical if you think about it.. they take into consideration search engine statistics..
but at the core it's just the evolution of the old print media where a captivating headline would sell the newspaper
exactly you're spot on.

Some people on here think Khan calls up journalists to talk about Mayweather :lol1:
Aye, exactly what people don't realise that Khan gets bombarded with such questions every time the press interviews him. I remember Khan saying that I'm fully focused on Collazo and if media keep asking him questions about Mayweather next time, he'll simply ignore. But I guess he can't.
Exactly you can't blame Khan for this one. Uk press is the worst in the world. When Mayweather will travel to the Uk I bet every other question will be related to Khan fight lmao then I'll see how Mayweather avoids them. :lol1:
