Correct, but the significance of that hinges on the strength of the contract between GBP and the fighter. How many of these contracts are long term or multi-fight deals? If GBP don't have those, then it's that omniscient 'adviser' Al Haymon who's got real influence over where the fighters go.
That makes sense. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
everytime I call you on your stupidity or make a point in a debate you can't refute you accuse me of being him or his alt. sad.
call me out for stupidity?? u havent made any point in a debate against me but if it'll make u feel better thinking u did, be my guest. im just saying we're all adults here, theres no need to hide behind another account. LOL
^^^ just take pac doing ost for example. for years the flomos cried about manny not doing ost, they begged manny to take the test if he's clean so we can finally get to see this mega fight. then when pac submit to ost, u get the same usual comments from them. "oh pac is not juicing now thats why he's doing ost".. "pac was juicing before thats why he wouldnt do ost". "why agree to ost now"? "its too late, wont mean anything".
i mean u would think that pac doing ost now is a good thing but it seems like the flomos hate pac even more now that he's agreed to it. like i said these guys are so commited to trashing pac, that even when pac is doing the things they wanted him too they still talk shiiet because thats what they're program to do.
I could be wrong, but another thing he doesn't have is a roster. All the work he's put in, and all those fighters are signed to Golden Boy Promotions. Correct?

because then the flomos wouldnt have anything to cry about. their job is to post on here everyday about how pac is on peds and arum is the reason why gbp wont do business with tr. if they side with arum now then that would eliminate all their hard work of trashing bob arum over the years.
They did the same thing about the CATCHWEIGHT lol for years every single day they would call Manny catchweight king, to discredit his win over Cotto, even calling a shot damaged beat down Cotto fresh when Floyd signed to fight him, lol, so all of a sudden Cotto is fresh but just a few months ago they were saying Cotto at 154 wasn't impressive and Pac would beat him again that the rematch with Pac is worthless, all of a sudden after Floyd fights him they say that Cotto would whoop Pac.
Then Floyd fights Canelo at 152 instead of being ashamed and hiding under a bed like a normal person would, they tried to justify that catchwegiht after years of calling Pac the catchweight king, what makes it worse is Floyd was the first guy to fight a catchweight with Marquez, yet nobody called Floyd catchweight king, this is how pathetic and repetitive Flowmos are they really love discrediting Pac to big up Floyd.
Its also why they don't admit the truth that Pacman has been through brutal wear and tear, Pacman is a shot fighter already and any unbiased boxing fan can see it that he is a shell of himself age has caught up to him.
They don't want to admit it because just in case Floyd fights him they want to give him credit for that win over an already knocked out Pacman.
The truth is this version of Pacman has no shot at Floyd, he is done and Floyd beats him easy, the Pac of 2009 would have been Floyds cherry on top to shut up the critics, he would finally fight a guy everyone wanted to see him fight in his prime and at his level.
Yes, that is the cause o the inner feud going on. Richard already said it, he said its the main cause and that he will NEVER work with ARUM and has no intention of squashing the beef with Arum at all.
Richard also has a beef with HBO, and other promoters he wants to have a monopoly like UFC.
im just curious but whats the beef between bob and richard?? or is schaefer just riding with floyd on the whole i'll never do business with arum??

I'd appreciate it if you kept the stupidity to a bare minimum in this tread, thanks.

I think Schaefer probably feels like he can do it without Oscar, that he's really GBP and not Oscar, and as such he should be the one calling the shots. Schaefer has acquired a lot of expertise over the years and has built a lot of relationships. Sure, he's not Oscar, but he doesn't really need to be. The main thing he's probably lacking is Oscar's money. But if he's tight enough with Haymon and Espinoza then maybe he can get past that too.

Also seems like most the fighters have contracts with Al Haymon while goldenboy is promoting them on a fight by fight basis. Which gives Schaefer and Haymon the option of leaving with the fighters anytime they want.
That's pretty much all to be said... :)
