Titles at 160,168,175, and heavy
Fighter of decade in 90s and not even close
Did things in the ring that would make SRR and Ali blush
Only time caught up.with him
My boy roy made me love the sport....made it look easy against very good comp
people will try to put Floyd higher than him, if they were the same size anyone really think Floyd beats prime Roy? hah
no knock on Floyd at all by the way
Roy at 168-175 (he'd be at LHW under old weigh-in rules) would be a handful for any LHWs in history.
Only guys of the last half century I would not pick Jones over would be Spinks & Foster. Qawi gives him hell but loses.
On tape maybe the best I've seen. Would've destroyed Mayweather and Manny and all their foes in their prime P4P
I remember Roy saying he could beat 2 Pernell Whitakers in one night...and I believed him
he's definetly an ATG. he was able to achieve what no one was able to in the last century. he beat other hall of famers and a fellow ATG.

Prime for prime, Roy is definitely top 10 ATG. His resume, and end of his career do leave a little to be desired though. Talent wise, Roy was as good as it got.
 at Leonard being a pitty pat flurry puncher. Sure if you watched maybe about 4 fights out of his 40 fight career. He was a great combo puncher.
Jones is top 30, I guess. Never made an all time list.
how many ray leonard fights have you actually seen?
leonard was actually a very good puncher.
He was a very good puncher, especially at ww
When he set down on his punches and put his body in them, his combos were a bit slower than when he threw the flashy arm punch flurries
Watch his fight against floyd sr, hearns, benitez etc....very good power and speed but jones and pacquaio threw faster power combos
No disrespect to the legend
Ray threw pitty pat flurries
Jones put his body into his punches
Looking good and effectiveness are two diff things...leonard couldn't throw the shots jones could when he put power on his shots were waaay slower...jones was fast and powerful with combos and singles...leonard wasnt
Also leonard was a sucker for right hands, kept left too low and didnt have jones reflexes or overall speed...leonard was aesthetically pleasing, jones was but more effective and powerful

robinson and ali?
not only are their resume better by leaps and bounds, they're great looking fighters on tape.
Who thinks he loses to a cruiser before the ruiz fight ??
He obviously wasn't so confident, otherwise he'd have gone through with fighting Jirov (someone who was willing to move down in weight to fight him.)
Name the last modern fighter to
Go from 154 to heavy and win titles .
Who thinks he loses to a cruiser before the ruiz fight ??
Name the last fighter to gain 51 pounds over a career and still be out weighed
30 pounds on fight night and win a belt ???
Ill wait.
(Thats like asking floyd to go weigh in at 154 and fight hopkins
At 175 and thats even to light by 8 pounds.
So to make it completely fair ,
Throw in kovalev which is closer to age as ruiz was)
Floyd wont even fight sergio or GGG at 160 or ward at 168
Name the last guy who went undefeated for 15 yrs
Who didnt duck his top 3 threats in his division .
Name me the last guy who beat 2 alltime greats in their primes
With ease. B hop /toney/
Name one guy more talented
So I guess kirkland laing(beat duran) is top ten camacho(beat duran and leonard) is top 5 too mr. Sarcasm
Smh...wins over past prime or shot greats dont mean as much
If thats the case how can you have Fraud mayweater in your top 20..The guys isn't even a ATG if it wasn't for the money he would be considered a active hall of famer at best.. What has he done that others haven't?
So I guess Antonio Tarver is top 5.....

I have him in my top 15. I haven't taken the time to come up with an educated, well thought out list but I am pretty sure that when I do Pacquiao will definitely be very high in it.
Jones and Pacquiao are special talents, just like Mayweather is. The only thing that's keeping Floyd from being on their level is his resume / opposition faced. He has ducked so many opponents and fought so many names well past their prime that it is really hard to make a case for him.
Mayweather has won 4 lineal titles like pac, won more title fights, more title defenses, beat more champs,etc...resume wise they are equal or mayweather surpasses him
Also consider money has like 15 less fights than pac...its impressive
Not getting on pac but Morales, barrera, and jmm were past prime when he beat them....their is not one fighter in.history who has not beat past prime guys
