Do you guys think that the long flight to China from the USA and the time zone and having to fight early morning ruined Rios when he fought Pacman?
Rios should have won that fight against a slower washed up Pacman, but he seemed so sleepy like he wasn't awake in there. If Rios only did what I said he would have knocked Pacman out with a crisp flush punch, if Bradley rocked him imagine what Rios punch can do he wobbled the bigger taller Alvarado with a jab.
Pacquiao flys back and forth from china to America but he is adjusted to the long flights so he knows how to deal with it and when to fly over.
Rios I think was ruined by the long airplane ride and the fact that he was forced to fight at 8 am in the morning when he is used to fighting at 9 pm at night.
Anyone agree?
The fight was closer to noon and he had weeks to adjust to the time. I'm sure the man has sparred/trained during those hours before. This is a pathetic post.
Why do you always like calling peoples posts pathetic, is that your trademark or something?
yea...i also dont think Jennings is your guy..i know you can't get rid of Smith so you might as well build around him and Drummond...get pieces back for Monroe...a sign and trade might work because people need bigs
I like Jennings on offense, and he was playing well for Cheeks but he went into a terrible funk after he got the ax and the new coach didn't really bench him but he didn't show him a ton of trust and let him play through it but I could feel the interim coach because that dude needed to win for his next job.
The problem with Jennings is he has no strength and can not d up anyone, like if I compared his defense to that of a boxer I couldn't the closet thing I could come to would be like Wilder, but in reality Jenning's defense makes Wilder look like Ali.
I think we will be able to get rid of Smith, we just can't expect anything of real value in return, but I could see them trading Monroe also because they could get real value for him as they do have the space to pay him and hold onto him even if we have to match a max offer he is still 6'11", 24 and never misses games so he would still be a plus asset.
I do like Pope even though he didn't have a great or even good rookie season.
damn...same record? i'd shoot myself if the Lakers gave me the same record next year
Yea and it has been the same story for the most part for years, although at least in most years there was movement one way or the other. Which is what you want either to get better or get really bad. I personally blame Josh Smith~
Oh well at least we have Andre Drummond and Monroe is still under our control so I would hope a GM can make something work even if we decide to trade or sing/trade Monroe
saw that...truth is, Joe piggybacked that run for too long...a new direction will be good for the Pistons...how many losses did you guys end up with?
That is how the NBA goes, there was really nothing he could do, he tried to break it up and actually made pretty good picks but he could just never get the mix correct or hire a head coach that could make the mix work.
Which culminated in this season where we played the worst defense I have ever seen a Pistons team play. We went 29-53 which was the exact same record we had last season, which is bad in so many ways.
They did probably need a new direction though, but still sad to see Joe go.
can't sleep on Toronto...if Lowry is healthy, i can see them beating the Nets
indeed...but just shows how awful the east is and that the Heat have the WBO paper title.
i hope Big Al drops 40/20 on Bosh's face.
do you have any idea how bad Laker fans are hurting right now? this is the time of the year when we're at our most obnoxious and proud...instead, we're looking forward to may 20 to see where we draft...this season was extremely painful
The season was pretty bad for the Pistons, the only thing I have to look forward to is the 30 for 30 on the Bad Boys and hoping Cleveland doesn't get lucky again and jump us so we lose our draft pick although it will probably be the Knicks that get lucky this year~
Sad to see Joe go even though he was not very popular anymore.
Im a Heat fan but....http://www.thecoli.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/ld.png
I don't like our chances.
The Heat are sissy f*ggots that tanked the #1 seed to avoid playing Bulls/Nets winner. Now that the Nets are #6 I hope that comes back to haunt them.
you dont get much attention in real life huh
Greg Monroe looked good last night against the Thunder almost had a triple double, although his lack of rim protection hurt us when Durant essentially drove to the hoop unopposed to dunk it to take the lead because Drummond had fouled out.

dude thats my point he didn't show up, it was weird. I feel the time zone, the jet lag and the early morning fight time kinda made him sluggish and tired. Didn't they try to give him some illegal energy drinks and caffeine before the fight to keep him awake?
Rios is known as a super aggressive pressure fighter, but for that fight he didn't seem 100 percent he was sleepy it seemed and just doing the rounds.
man martinez looks huge compared to cotto
Rios is a slow, plodding fighter with power. He needs his opponents to stand right in front of him and exchange in order for him to be effective. Anyone with pop and speed who boxes him beats him. Dem's da facts.
Everybody in their right mind knew bam bam was not going to win that fight. The long flight or different time zone had nothing to do with it. I would like to see Prov vs Rios later this year or maybe Rado vs Rios 3.
