Needless to say, boxing is my favorite sport by far. I tried competing, but I got into the sport so late, that the ship has sailed and I don't have the stomach for competing. In what other ways can I become directly involved in boxing? It would be amazing to be a part of a professional card and possibly make a living doing it.
Join the Money Team and carry Floyd's Louis V luggage around for him, jobs starts at about 100k per year.
I'm gonna get on the phone with him right this very second XD
here's another easy one:
photography. any idiot can drop 500 and get a DSLR camera and take pictures that would make a magazine 20 years ago.
people used to literally ask me if i knew any photographers who would like media credentials. they're great for publicity, and the promotors love to have them on the apron taking pictures.
there's very little money in boxing. i wouldn't look to make a career out of anything boxing related if you don't already have a preexisting opportunity.
if you're a good writer, and know your stuff, you can try getting media credentials and writing for one of the websites. you won't get paid, but your seat at big fights is free. if you work hard and establish yourself you'll be on the phone with big time fighters quite quickly. this works best if you live near a major boxing hotbed. you may end up only wathcing local fighters if you can't travel, or you don't have big fights coming to you.
expect to work hard just to get established, and receive very little compensation.
