If there is a 5th fight, I think Pacquiao would get knocked out again because he will try to KO marquez to get revenge but doing that vs Marquez does not end well. I think Alvarado will beat Marquez and will go on to face Pacquiao, And Marquez will end up facing Ruslan.
Everyone is tired of Marquez vs Pacquiao. Marquez one the first 3 fights and KOed Pacq in the 4th one. Marquez was robbed 3 times vs pacquiao.
Everyone is tired of hearing crybabies say that Marquez got robbed 3 times. Marquez always cries robbery, even after Bradley defeated him convincingly enough. Stop being a hater bro. Marquez won some of the rounds but lost the war. And Pacquaio won those first two fights ecking out decisions due to the knockdowns he scored. The third one was more controversial and that's the only fight where i could say that either guy could have gotten the decision.
Enough with the Marquez got robbed three times bullcrap. People are sick of hearing it. Right now all that matters is what happens in the future.
And Marquez right now has a reason to possibly face off with Manny again as he insisted he wants to go for the belt that Pacquaio now has. it might not be the most exciting fight but i have my doubts about it happening as Marquez right now is taking his words back he said a couple of weeks ago. Saying he would fight the winner of Pac-Bradley 2
The fight won't happen because there is no reason for Marquez to fight him for a fifth time.
$10 million + plus why each one will.
And you the OP will focking paid at leat $59.99 for it.
Yall know it's gonna be a close fight.
But save it up for Marquez vs Bradley II and Bradley vs Pac III.
Yall know this Mayweather ain't ever gonna happen until uncle Bob is six feet under and Floyd and Pac are both broke.
I somehow believe Pacquaio would try to fight smarter. As Marquez has clearly lost a step i doubt if he will be able to win against Mike Alvarado. I believe Alvarado won't be coming into this fight being confident about going for a knockout knowing that Marquez is one of the best counterpunchers around. This fight is 50/50 as it all depends on how much pressure Alvarado applies and how well Marquez can counter him. But Alvarado can move on his feet. Not similar to Manny's feet movement but he can move pretty ok if he wants to but i believe Marquez can easily time his right hand on Alvarado but will he be able to hurt him? I doubt it. I think Alvarado can hurt Marquez as he is quite big himself.
As for Pacquaio beating Marquez? After that ko loss i better hope he learned his lesson. He can definitely outwork Marquez by carefully going after him in the early rounds to apply more pressure after the sixth once Marquez would start to tire and lose composure i could see him getting hurt from Pacquaio's shots as Marquez doesn't have the best chin in his division. I respect Marquez a lot though but as i see it right now i think the fight is 60/40 in favor of Manny. It could be a close decision also...
Pacquaio doesn't bring anything new to the table when it comes down to angles or thrown punches but he does bring something else and that's more composure and for a fighter like Marquez it could only benefit Pacquaio as Marquez is not known to be a high volume puncher. Manny will eventually try to draw him into a firefight and outwork Marquez to get a decision victory at the end of the 12th round.
The only way marquez would fight pacquiao for a fifth time is if the fight is in Mexico.

it's really hard to tell right now. If Marquez wins his upcoming fight against Alvarado then i believe it will happen. If Marquez feels confident in himself i doubt he will let the belt Pacquaio has now slip away from him.
I don't see him winning it though. Marquez has been slipping for these past few fights and looks very slow right now. I feel if he ever fought Pacquaio again that he might be in trouble and would only be able to rely on his timing and straight right hand.
I believe Manny will cautiously outwork him this time. His foot movement and speed are still there, despite the slight decline in speed and power i feel Pacquaio still got it. He's just transcended into a different fighter, a boxer puncher to be exact.
This is what people fail to see. Pacquaio once was a heavy handed brawler. Since campaigning at welterweight, especially 147lbs his punches don't seem to have the same effect on his opponents as they used to. Let's not forget! Manny was always the smaller fighter but always found ways to win and that's the true definition of a champion. Dig down deep and find ways to win. And Pacquaio is doing exactly that by using his foot speed and ring intelligence.
And honestly i don't feel there is a need for a fifth fight with Marquez but i would love to see Pacquaio get revenge. A knockout could happen to any fighter, anytime, anywhere. It doesn't define who a fighter is.
And since that ko loss, people have been expecting too much of him. Do we always need knockouts? No we don't, it's fun and does make it exciting but so does a good tactical decision victory.

It depends on who wins Marquez or Alvarado

Why on earth would anyone want to ruin that ending in the 4th fight with another fight? It's like when Vazquez and Rafael Marquez fought a 4th fight after the brilliant end to the 3rd.
Besides, how are people not sick of Pac/Marquez by now?
First fight was close, rightfully ruled a draw.
Second fight was close as well and could have been anybody's win. I personally had it for Marquez.
Marquez thoroughly outboxed him in the third match and was horribly robbed.
JMM then KO'd Pacquiao viciously in the fourth.
See a pattern here? Marquez just kept getting better as the series went on. I mean when you lay a guy flat out unconscious for a few minutes in the ring, what else is there to prove?
Truth is, Marquez-Pacquiao 5 would generate very good PPV buys, probably 800-1.2mill, around there. And money talks. Only two people will try to stop the fight from happening, Alvarado by beating Marquez, or Marquez by just saying no. But Arum, Pac, Roach will all want it.
From what I saw in the Pac-Bradley rematch, I really think Pac should stay away from Marquez and just fight Jessie Vargas and call it a day. The wild lopping shots Bradley was landing, would be landed with far better accuracy and power by Marquez. But Pac is a prizefighter and he should just go where the money is, and he will ask for that Marquez fight cause that's where the money is and he still has something to prove to the fans, that he could clearly beat JMM which he has failed to do in 4 tries.
He's beaten him arguably 3 of 4 times, not decisively but still beat him

Maybe, but he's riding high on the Paquiao KO, which gives him more confidence to face him again. Besides, the bigger payday clearly exists in Pacquiao vs Marquez V. But again, he's going to have to get past Alvarado first. Taller boxers give Marquez trouble.
I'm actually betting on Alvardo to beat JMM
