No it's A list. And considering Adrien Broner was in it until the end of last year, forgive me for not taking it as gospel.
If "a" list ever mattered, that's the one. The list itself is the 100+ year lineage.
Take it or leave it, your opinion matters nil anyways.

Not just in it, but top 5 at one point, I think. I know he was as high as 6.
Oh. History lesson time.
Ring Magazine P4P is THE LIST. PERIOD. Has been for 100 years.
If you do not recognize it so be it. A lot of things are different in your world anyways.

Pacquiao clearly lost the 3rd fight, it was even voted robbery of the year
Which is stupid considering the fact that the press scores were damn near 50-50. I think Marquez had like 5 more people who thought he won than Pacquiao did among the press scores.
Fighting past prime, washed up losing bums like Clottey, Margarito and Mosley dropped him out of the P4P rankings.
Losing to JMM back to back who wasn't even a welter weight, fighting Bradley back to back who wasn't even a welter weight the first time around and cherry picking a bum in Rios who wasn't a welter weight doesn't put you at the top of the P4P list either.
However after his last win, due to Bradley's success at 147 Pac just made it back into the top 10. Possibly. That may be me being biased towards Pac. I think he deserves to just make it in there.
1) Clottey was a very solid fighter who took Cotto life and death before.
2) Pac only lost to JMM once and was winning the 4th fight too until the luckiest punch ever landed. Back to back, lol.
3) Lol at squeeking into the top ten after Bradley when he never fell out of it and Bradley being ranked #3 at the time.
You guys make my heart laugh sometimes.

I dont think so, at all. Pacquiao out threw and out landed him once again. the fight was close but it certainly wasn't a robbery.
Among the unofficial scorers above, 57 scored the bout for Marquez, 51 scored the bout for Pacquiao, and the remaining 36 scored the bout a draw.

The fact is that the list exists and it's been a part of boxing for a long, long time. Experts opinions matter. It's what the sport has been about for over 100 years.
If it was strictly a who beat who for a ranking spot, then boxing rankings in themselves would be mythical as well seeing as how all fighters in a class have not faced all the other fighters in that class.
For instance: How was Floyd ever ranked over Manny at WW without ever having faced him or vice-versa?

Pound-for-pound by definition is mythical because guys like Wladimir and Rigondeaux can't fight each other. We aren't talking in facts here.
