Just after seeing the actual report there Batt very lucky by the sounds off it.Maybe i'm being abit ott here but too be struggling against that type off opponent should make Lee seriously consider his career. He should move back up too 160 154 has a lot more bad opponents then 160 try and make the Macklin fight and make a few dollars for himself
IMO he fought a very odd fight. He was several inches taller and appeared to have a significant reach advantage, and yet he fought from a Crouch and not nearly using his jab enough. His defence was poor as well.
I thought the fight was close, but others had Lee losing clearly.
I spoke to a few irishmen outside the arena after the fight. They thought Lee lost as well. Boy the where having fun. Drunk and ready to go to a pub. It was about 6.30....
Longest card I ever attended BTW. It started at 5 o'clock in the afternoon and ended after 1 o'clock at night.
I just come home!

And very, very lucky.

If he can make 154 and not be drained, i think its a great move... Nothing really left for him at 160 except fights vs other random contenders like macklin
At 154 he can become a contender and position himself for decent paydays vs canelo, kirkland, possibly going to australia and fighting mundine
I expect him to have the same results at 154 like he had at 160,, Good fighter but cant win the big fight to get over the hump and become a legit top level guy.. But i think the money is better for him at 154 then 160..
Well if his suck job is because of his weight, don't see him sticking there

Weighed in at 155, didn't look gaunt! I've long thought he should try 154 although he's very tall, he's never been a big middleweight. He's lean sure but he's always carried some water weight during the weigh ins at middleweight!
He's got a good nutritionist and S&C coach as well as trainer in Adam Booth, it will be interesting to see how he does in the fight. If he is comfortable at the weight and can rehydrate to 165+ then I think he could do very well against anyone not named Canelo!
Have to say he did look good in that pic murph.Still would prefer to see him vs Macklin as much too get some buzz amongst the general sports fan. It's incredible how much it has died down once again since London
That's the matchup I thought of when I heard he was going to 154. It would be a terrible fight, IMO.
Supposedly Mundine was supposed to fight Andrade/Rose winner, but we all know how that turned out.
I think I'm about the only person who actually is into Andrade. Of course I got to see him dominate at the '07 AMs. They need to set him up with some top comp after Rose. I guess I'd settle for Lee should Andrade find himself having trouble getting a good fight.
We could see Andrade/Clottey.
both with Star promotions, Clottey still a name.....could happen
I could see him fighting Andrade if he stays at 154

A boring fighter… He's just looking for a easy ride now.
Hmm, you realise the hardest thing a fighter does is make weight!? If he was looking for an easy ride then he'd have tried his luck at 168! And what do you consider exciting!? As Andy's biggest downfall is trying to slug with guys instead of maintaining his reach advantage!
I saw this weeks ago on an Irish Boxing site but thought it was a joke but Andy said it himself. Also apologies gents he fights at 157 this weekend and then will fight a month later in Wales
