Ievegn's hit his weight on the contract of 163lbs yesterday in NY. Jas Phipps weighed in at 160lbs. Jas Phipps was doing a little trash talking during the stare down and to me after the weigh in. He told me my kid has nothing. It was very entertaining and I am glad Mr Phipps will do his best to bring it to Khytrov. We want no easy bouts just good hard fights so Khytrov can keep learning in the pro ranks. Mr. Phipps has faced two good potential young fighters in Alicea and Gavril. So Phipps will be a good test for Khytrov in his young career. Khytrov has now adjusted to the states and has had a nice camp. I am excited to see how he fights.
June 6th we are also fighting on the ESPN card.
We are not on TV. I am hoping for a swing bout. Will be tough.
I am hoping soon on Show Box or ESPN in late summer
Well hoping to see him on TV soon. Activity is good
2012 Olympian Ievgen “The Ukrainian Lion” Khytrov (4-0, 4 KOs) made short work of Texan Jas Phipps (4-3, 1 KO) in a super middleweight bout scheduled for six rounds. Khytrov, a standout amateur of 500 bouts, knocked Phipps down with a left hook in round one and proceeded to pummel the Texan in round two with left hooks and right hands until referee Harvey Dock called a halt to the contest at 2:07 of round 2.
What a heck of a left hook in the 1st. He is getting better.
We fight June 6th
Heard that it's on ESPN.

Well Khytrov is doing it the right way unlike Lomachenko who probably jumped in at the deep end a little too quick in the pro game (at least against that particular opponent).
Beterbiev has stepped it up relatively quickly too, Jeff Lacy in his 5th fight, although who knows what Lacy has left. Fighting past names the public are aware of, is a good way for Beterbiev to get exposure. I think a lot of people will tune in for that.
Yeah tend to agree - they're keeping Ievgn busy tho - 4th fight in as many months- which has to be a good thing. Mekhontsevs also fighting tomorrow night and obviously Beterbiev looks to have the Lacy fight set up. Nice to see these guys being moved along.
I will get a link up right away of the fight.
We means Manager Michael Elovitz ,his trainers Andre Rosier and Gary Stark Sr. and Fight Promotions
Oh, he's trained by Rosier?
Does he spar with Stevens?

Nice - looking forward to see how Ievgen progresses as a pro. I'm guessing the fight tonight won't be televised? Hopefully get some footage on YT or something in the near future.
Hopefully Khytrov moves to 4 (4) and 0 tonight.
