i really find it funny how much the exact same was said before Rigo - Donaire, people were saing he is chinny, was floored numerous times against medicore opposition, struggled heavily against Cordorba and and and...yeah yeah Lara is no Rigo but its the same exact past-history, not that i totally disagree with you, im not critizising just wanted to say how funny the resemblance is :boxing:
Good point. Donaire was the favorite going in. Having watched the sport for some time, Canelo getting schooled isn't exactly a stretch.
Canelo stops Lara with a brutal body attack!!
Dwyer goes broke this year...
This is what I see happening. Canelo has an underrated defense that will allow him to get close to Lara, close enough to tag Lara with the straight right. That right will land frequently enough to force the slickster to keep his gloves up higher that he wants to. Once this happens, the ginger will close the gap and unleash vicious combinations to the head and body until Lara's mid-section gives way.
was i talking about triangle theories?
hes a fckn retard bro dont listen to him, guaranteed he can't make no sense of what he said even though you never talked about fighters. "HAS STRUGGLED WITH LESSER OPPONENTS how does that retard make that into a triangle theory? Its a simple assessment on the way he's performed vs lesser skilled opponents but I guess you can't go by that and you gotta go with the eye test and see how pretty his footwork is and how sharp his left is lol
No, my point is - Lara is a bit overrated, got floored against Angulo, looked unimpressive against very mediocre Martirosyan. The weaknesses of both fighters are pretty clear, its a 50/50 fight

Yea, I totally said Lara was gonna beat Canelo cause he beat Trout easier. Or whatever argument you're trying to make. Jas said Lara is more active than Canelo and I simply backed up his statement with numbers.
lollolololol is that not a triangle theory? lara landed the better numbers vs trout so you posted them to back up his triangle theory. Like it actually fckng mattered. I'll let you figure this one out
Lara barely beat Angulo how will he beat Canelo unless the fight takes place at 152
Canelo barely beat Trout how will he beat Lara unless the fight takes place at 152...
...man how i love to play these games :lol1:
Yea. You said Lara struggled with lesser(other) fighters therefore this won't be a mismatch.

This is actually on point. The question is, will Canelo fight like a Mexico for once in his life...LOL
He has to walk through the fire a bit to get the rewards in this fight.
I think for once we well see el ginger going forward. I just hope he throws punches not just walk forward. Use his body to walk Lara down and tire him out. Should be an interesting fight non the less.
Canelo's big chance, in my opinion, is to KO Lara in the later rounds, just like Froch did to Groves.
Lara is technically and tactically too skilled for Canelo.
Only way he does this if he starts investing in the body early, but then again that would require him to fight in close which would make Canelo have to take a lot of straight left hands to do so.

But with Canelo's reputation of gassing, will his punches have enough mustard to hurt Lara in the late rounds and keep him down? Lara is very well conditioned. I think the Angulo fight proved that.

As long as the ginger bastard keeps walking Lara down he well land punches. Lara is not as slick specially when under pressure. If ginger lets Lara dictate the pace its game over for his pasty @ss
That's why I favor Lara. I can't pick Canelo based on expecting him doing something that he hasn't done before even against smaller fighters that utilize less movement.
If Canelo knew how to pressure better, I will give him a much better chance. His problem is he really is a fighter who likes to stand his ground, unless he pulls out himself for a breather.
I cannot picture him chasing Lara very well, and Lara can punch on the move. Canelo likes fighters to come to him, and Lara will not bite.
I expect a Lara decision win.
Edit: Unless of course Canelo had some very fine print in the contract stipulating a 10' Square Ring ;)

I guess you should take your own advice. Resorting to triangle theories smh. And Im not saying Dwyer is right either.
was i talking about triangle theories?
So you didn't resort to trout vs lara? And canelo vs trout or post punch stats? Lol take your own advice you down syndrome retard
