This guy is pro Khan but he makes some interesting points, he states he has some inside info in the Khan camp also talks about Virgil.
What do you guys think?
I got a huge feeling Khan will lose this fight!
All Virgil will do for Khan is give him a stiff neck then get KOed because Virgil is too lazy to get into the ring between rounds! :lol1:
I just hope for Khan's sake that he will improve because 147 hitters hit harder than 135 and 140! All I hear from their camp was that the KOs and knock downs had to do with being weight drained. It's more than that!
I think Hunter's a fraud who only got lucky with Ward. Khan did not get anything from Hunter and Hunter just made me appreciate Roach as a trainer. Roach knew Khan's weaknesses and did his best to make Khan look good. At Khan's age I do not expect him to learn new tricks and even if he did Hunter's not the coach who could help him and I think Khan has reached the peak of his career.
and how many world beaters has coach rick trained?
Never said he needs some mitt trainer like Coach rick to train him lol, I doubt Virgil's style is working for khan we all saw that in Diaz's fight, maybe someone like Joel Diaz or Robert Garcia are most suited for his style.
Considering Virgil Hunter's fighters are on some losing streak lately, his reputation is on the line along with Khan's come May3rd.

this video seems like a promo for coach rick
why wud khan leave hunter for some unproven mitt trainer?
lol
this guy is an idiot

Khan will be khan but If his defence improves, then theres no way somebody is stopping him. He can outbox any fighters and has great foot speed but his defence is a little shaky. If virgil improves his defense and he can learn to go with the punches rather agaisnt it, then there is no body at 147 that can beat except mayweather or pacman.
Good video!!!!
Every fighter has to firstly, come to grips with their own reality prior to effectively determining what coach\trainer would bring the very best out of them.
And therein lies the problem with Khan --
When Khan looks in the mirror he see's a fighter that doesn't exist in reality. And therefore when he attempts to evaluate his strengths and weaknesses, he's not seeing the real. In Khan's mind he's already at the point in his career where he can beat the best P4P boxer on the planet. ..... So, when you're already at the top of your game (in your fantasy world) where do you go, or better yet, how much more can a trainer\coach help you??
Whomever has been feeding Khan that "He's the greatest" nonsense has done a world of harm to Khan's mental state .... Because Khan actually believes it in reality.
Roach said when they split you can't teach an old dog new tricks. It gets even tougher when the dog is Dopey in the IQ stakes.
Ths guy is clearly a Khan fan. Collazo is an intelligent canny fighter playing him at his own game would be a mistake IMO the old in out ambush Khan has the best chance.
Hunter is having a tough time of it right now,if Khan loses the fans are going to blame him. He must seriously be feeling the pressure.
The omens are starting to remind me of the build up to the Hamed Barrera fight where they did this build up TV show where Naz set himself up for a fall.It is $h1t or bust make or break time for both of them.
This is the first time I have seen in the build up to a Khan fight where the Khan fans have serious doubts. There were concerns going into the Maidana fight but not at this level.
Wow this guy looks serious and pretty confident in what he's saying..
I sure do hope Khan pulls this one off, otherwise its over for him, I don't wanna see any further mishaps happening..
Like Khan or not, he has some potential. Chin is obviously suspect, but he was right in there with Garcia and I thought he was looking pretty good. If he can develop the Wlad style he is going to beat guys many of you think he can't. The correct trainer can make the adjustments if Khan is willing to see the need for a change. Whether or not he decides to do that? I use Wlad as an example because the skill he learned after getting humiliated by Sanders and Brewster was jab, cross, hold. Then hold then hold, then hold. They didn't correct his chin they effectively hid it from sight.
He can't do a Wlad. He has some physical advantages but not extreme enough to hold someone at the end of a jab like that totally brain-dead. Not like he's so physically imposing it's draining to have him lean up on you in the clinch, etc...

I would like to see Khan work with Buddy McGirt. I don't think Khan is a world beater but he has some serious skills. If he tightens up his defense and get himself in great cardio shape I believe he could make some people look bad. Even at 147.
So he can throw in the towel and stop Khan from being 'too brave for his own good' right? :nutkick:
Guys are so quick to blame the trainer. How does he know viirgil didn't train him lol wtf. And all the guys Virgil got were mediocre to begin with. Berto is a lost cause he kept telling him to not shoulder roll. Angulo is just slow. Khan is gonna khan since he's too dumb. And mayfield is 33 with no defining victories.

Khan's time is up.
Simple as that. He is out of prime and out of time. His style requires youth. 140 was his division. He isn't going to get better with age. Getting the Bradley fight in 2011 was his best chance to reach & showcase his maximum potential. Now though he is just going downhill. He should be able to handle Collazo unless Collazo really brings it and forces inside action.
And on Virgil: Can't make dumb smart & took away his offence.
Also lol @ Khan's strength coach...Have you seen the size of the guy? He has a disproportionate bodybuilder training him. Ariza was the best and continues to be the best S&C coach Khan had....It's a shame the PEDerson fight and his team problems mean't Ariza had to leave.
Really it's always been Khan's biggest flaw inside and outside the ring - His brain...forget his chin.
