Curtis Stevens wouldn't last a round against Stevenson. Stevens probably shouldn't be calling out a bigger puncher than himself. I disagree with him about the Stevenson/Dawson stoppage, not saying Dawson couldn't have continued but it wasn't a bad stoppage. A fighter is always going to have a different perception than a fan. As a former fighter, I can tell you that I was in fights I thought I clearly won. Then I look at tape, and never "felt" the fight that way. I think fighters don't like to see early stoppages because they know sometimes it only takes a fighter a few seconds to recoup. I don't have an issue with the stoppage but I understand when fighters say those things.

Thanks for the positive the other day. If you read the STevenson def Force thread it seems very clear race is a major issue. From my reading some posters are genuinely pissed the fight isn't happening. Other posters seem mad that al haymon got stevenson a ton of money. You actually called the thread maker out for the "black list" which suggested you saw something else that wasn't boxing related. I use to read everything on this issue... ... The "race" approach comes up on forums like this one... ... Actual boxing fights are not about race -- they are about styles, etc... Posters make them "about race"... And, unfortunately a particular part of the posters... (As about me, my favorite fighters are: GUILLERMO RIGONDEAUX, LEO SANTA CRUZ, Omar Figueroa, Lucas Matthysse, Tim Bradley, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr, ERISLANDY LARA, SERGIO MARTINEZ, GENNADY GOLOVKIN, CARL FROCH, BERNARD HOPKINS, SERGEY KOVALEV... :) )

Adonis and Kovalev are both established light heavyweights. GGG isn't a super middleweight. He's going to fight Chavez at super middleweight now. And don't say now u can say GGG is ducking because with wards legal issues, idk if he can fight at all and I doubt he would even take a GGG fight under his current contract with Goossen. I don't see anyone willing to fight Ward at 168. Not even Golovkin -- he'd maybe fight him in Kazakhstan (or Monaco), and with neutral ref and judges... Nobody would beat Andre Ward in the U.S. (with U.S. officials). But to be honest: Ward would win a UD anywhere in the world (unless he gets somehow KOd).

Stevens really should get another shot at middleweight. He got made to look a fool after all that garbage he talked before the Golovkin fight, but he did well enough to deserve another chance. I agree! Macklin was about to get another title shot after getting ko in 2-3 rds by GGG and also got ko by Sergio a few yrs back. Lost to Sturm to 5-7 in Germany. Lol give Showtime another shot. He can probably fold Quillin.

it's the truth.....anyone who knows anything knows adonis ducked kovalev to go and fight a 50 year old........ only ppl who support adonis are non boxing fan cowards who would rather see a fighter in their prime and at their peak make more money than fight the best out there......this is what's killing boxing
