seriously this guys resume is probably the worst of all the current champs in any weight class. when the best win on your resume is gabriel "i lost my last 4 in a row" rosado then thats saying something. whats sad is that he was losing that fight also until he got a lucky break. the only other notable name he fought was a mummified winky who had to be unearthed from his sarcophogus just to get in the ring.
hes fought nothing but bums and home depot employees and his upcoming fight is against another guy nobody has ever heard of. when is quillin going to step up and fight somebody of merit? hes openly ducked golovkin and other fighters. is he seriously trolling us all? this cant be serious, right?
does anybody has those tweets?
I dont, but it was hilarious. Qullin ran out of any logical reasons why he wouldnt fight Golovkin, so he just started trying to attack twitter followers credibility. Said their opinions were invalid because they didnt have a "blue check" next to their twitter name. He was so gotten to he later apologized. I feel for the guy. A public melt down like that. Embarrassing.
Chavez Jr is the biggest joke in boxing. If his daddy wasnt who he is, Junior would be selling tacos on the streets of Culican.
Lmao. There's still hope for Junior man....very little, but it's still there.
No biggest joke in boxing is Gary Russell jr without a doubt...
We have been using the TBA joke for a few years now, and it still applies to him.. Like he is a pro wrestler and his gimmick is the guy that always fights TBA
Man that's some bull ish.. Aint no way Quillin scurred of Slowglovkin :lol1: You buggin.. GGG aint ever fought a slick fighter..It is a fact that Quillin turned GGG down and said a while back that the fight didn't make sense which is BS. GGG would torch Quiilin and if he gets the balls to fight GGG, put up some money.
To Quillin's credit I'd argue N'Dam is probably the best win on his resume. He also did drop Rosado early in the fight and butchered Gabriel's eye to the point where the eyelid was almost falling off, I thought the fight was close but I didn't think he was losing.
He really needs to improve his level of opposition and try to fight more often (3 times a year). I don't know who the guy he's fighting next is but he should try fighting someone like Murray, Geale, Lee, Rubio, Jacobs, Stevens, Macklin, Sturm, etc. The opponents are there, he just needs to go fight them and raise his stock a bit to increase his credibility as a beltholder.
Ndam was and is barely top 10. All the guys you listed, except maybe Jacobs and Stevens, are probably better than Ndam. You're right that the opponents are there. Problem is Quillin doesn't want to face them. He's openly admitted that he fights only for money and has no interest in fighting the best. If that's the case, then he shouldn't pretend to be a champion.

Fighting Quillin certainly wouldn't change that.
He's a really good fighter, but that doesn't change the fact that he's milking a paper title while fighting C and D level opponents and ducking any challenges.

Broner and Khan would like a word with you.
I dont think so.
After 154 GBP doesnt really have any fighters in the upper weight classes. Im not going to entertain the "OH he ducked Golovkin" because that was a double standard. Golovkin's team knows Quillin fights on Showtime but he still called him out to try exposing him as a duck, then Lara comes out and calls out GGG and they quickly say "Oh hes a showtime fighter, we want someone who we know can fight on HBO" fact....look it up. Even though Lara HAS fought on HBO more recently than any other showtime fighter, so im not buying the he ducked GGG thing. Right now Quillin is hoping the fighters at 154 move up.
He ducked Golovkin multiple times before GBP became Showtime exclusive. And even with that excuse to talk big afterwards, he still made excuses.
I dont think so.

I'm pretty sure Quillin was offered a Golovkin fight before he moved to Showtime. And there's nothing stopping him from fighting guys like Macklin and Stevens, who both were talked about as opponents for him. If Quillin won't fight top middleweights, he needs to stop pretending to be middleweight champion.
I dont think so.

The way he acts is ridiculous, the guy is one of the dumber ****s I've ever witnessed.
And I love how GBP and showtime tries to parade him around like a star, vs nobodies, and they zero dollars behind him. They know he isn't ****.
