Looking at recent fights, has anyone look at these as a possibility?
Khan is a superstar And Collazo is a veteran And he may look to cash himself out with a L.On the other hand an impressive Win could lead him to a mayweather showcase next...a lot of money involved
Just saying
I actually had the pleasure of meeting Collazo on saturday..
There was a small boxing event at the Resorts Casino in Queens, NY.
I saw him shaking a few hands and trying to keep a low profile..
He was thin, and looked like he was in good shape.. Weight was down, and I was surprised that I was actually larger than him..
Just for the few moments I was with him, it looked as if he was a man who looked like he was working too hard to do something like that..
My friend and I took a quick picture and told him that we felt he won the hatton and berto fight. He quickly stuck his hand out for a hand shake and said "thank you man. I really appriciate that" he looked like he was in pain from those losses.. Im a good judge on body language and it just doesnt seem like he'd throw a fight.. It was as if he had a chip on his shoulder from those bull**** losses..
The khan fight is very winnable. I pick Collazo by TKO...
Fair enough...then your not a real PR...you have non native blood :boxing:
Oh and you seem to be painfully unaware that the term american was made up by an italien , Americo Vespucci, and the natives were told this term . Ethnic Euros are the true americans.
Yea, yea, I'm aware of it and the word America means nothing to me..
It's what the conquers decide on calling it. It's a European word but
regardless of the word or name Europeans aren't native to this part of
the world. This is a land of people of color..! Not blonde hair or blue eyes,
not Redheaded with freckles, burping and farting and eating sh1t all over
the place because you have no fuking culture & just because a WAR is
won doesn't give anybody the right to claim that your from that country
let alone a Native to it. Your from where your fuking from.. :439:

Khan is a British-Pakistani.
British is a nationality not a bloodline thing, just like being an American. No one says he is English because that would not make sense. So its like saying if a person is Polish-American, cuz he shall always be Polish by blood, but he is an American.
He represents the UK, was born and raised there, hence he is British and yes his background is always gonna be Pakistani. But in the context of boxing he is British.
Khan is what Khan is and that's a Pakistani who was born and raised in Bolton England. Bottom line, this idea that if your born in a foreign country your from that country now is bullsh1t and you know it.. It's all these conquering non-cultured motherfukers that killed innocent people took their land and now claim it as if there native to it.. Get the fuk out here..You are who you are.. Embrace it, I already did.. :439:

How many times do these thickheaded khan boys need to be told? Khan is not a super star. I know he has made some millions but so have other boxers who are not super stars. Get it? Great.
Then the question must be asked: By what measure does one qualify as being a Superstar in the UK??
Because outside of winning a silver medal -- nothing in Khan's career would qualify him as a superstar .....
Dont know ask the brits...they also put David Haye on apedistal that was not deserved
By that logic, everyone listed as medal winners can be classified as Superstars -- Which by all accounts is simply silly!!!!
Not really. Khan won at 17 years old and became a huge star as well as a millionaire before he even turned pro.

No chance at all that Collazo will throw the fight.
To be honest it is a bit insulting to even suggest he would.
Collazo is a solid fighter at WW and has every chance to beat Khan, also at 32 years of age he is hardly over the hill. He always seems to be in great shape and fights with a lot of heart.
And finally Khan is NOT a superstar, he is a ranked fighter at LWW with some good wins and some shocking loses.
Don't believe the hype around Khan, Collazo is going to make him fight every second of every round.
He is a superstar in the UK but not globally.

Winning a SILVER medal doesn't make one a SUPERSTAR ..... Unless you're using some distorted reasoning, manufactured by Khan-fans that have too much time on their hands.
Manny Pacquiao - Floyd Mayweather are SUPERSTARS!!!
Khan in all honesty, is at best a wanna-be ..........

Winning an Olympic Silver Medal at 17 years old is probably how and when.

They would have to pay him a lot because he wins this fight he gets at least 2 more pay days as good as this one and it could go much better. Collazo seems to be a pretty confident guy so he is probably thinking about the positive outcomes instead of the negatives.
Are they really going to pay Collazo for 3 fights, I suppose anything is possible but that would be paying a lot for what they would get. It would be much more cost effective to just pay the ref/judges and tell Khan not to get knocked out~
:lol1:
I'm still trying to figure out how and when Khan became a :lol1: Superstar

Well, well. Now that you mentioned it; you are European if you’re white because Blonde hair and blue eyes are as sure as hell not American. If you want to call yourself American because you were born here that’s fine but you’re not native and Blonde hair and blue eyes aren't native to this part of the world..
FYI: Khan is WHAT HE IS and that's a Pakistani...

I don't need to go through "old posts" or "industry chatter" to know what happened.
What 3 fights did Maidana fight while he was mandatory?
Khan fought 1 fight while Maidana was mandatory. Khan had already fulfilled his mandatory obligation against Salita. You are not forced to fight two mandatories in a row back-to-back. So once again, Khan fought Maidana exactly when he was supposed to and there was no purse bid because they agreed a deal.
As far as this thread is concerned ,lets agree to disagree as it is sidetracking the subject matter. I have opened a thread on your and my version of the events. Lets leave it there

It will be interesting to see how people here remember things and the facts will surface as a result.
This one was one of the earlier threads on the subject, the story ran and ran and is along the lines of my post. The whole affair was ugly and disgraceful. Maidana's manager signed the deal and Maidana took legal action against him because he felt he had been had over. Please go through the old posts and do some research rather than wriggling and trying to prove you are right when you are not. You will notice that Maidana fought 3 other fighters while being mandatory. There was a 3 fight duck deal ,he did have to enforce a purse bid and there was a big delay before he fought him. There are loads of people on this forum who remember this. How long have you been on this forum because you either have a selective memory or did not read the posts at the time.
Like I said from your tone I felt you were not going to admit you were wrong I am going to post a thread and poll on the subject and i am sure that will dig up the info you really don't want to see as it does not fit in with your blinkered belief system. But even you with your twisty ways must see that Khan did not fight "Maidana when he was supposed to and the fight didn't go to purse bids either"
