Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2007: "I love Manny Pacquiao"

Ducked Margarito in 2006 and fought Corley. Ducked Cotto after the Hatton fight and opted to retire, saying Cotto wasn't big enough of a star (he was a bigger star then than he was when Floyd fought him). Ducked Pac in 2009 on wards. I don't think he is scared but he is aware that Pac is a HUGE risk for him and he's basically doing everything he can to not make that fight. He gave Pac $40mill, how much would he have made himself? FAR more. Pacs camp said that the winner could get 60% but then Floyd said that he could get screwed by a decision. Pacs camp ESPECIALLY Bob Arum is/was a problem but let's not act like Floyd is an angel and that he would love that fight. I remember Floyd getting his ass boo'd everywhere between 2009-2012 (basically until Pac got KO'd by Marquez). Someone please tell me how a fight vs Maidana/Khan is better than a fight vs Pac...even in 2014. Come on man, the fight was HOT in 2009/10 and it should have been made then but if they both win their next fights, who is there left for them to fight? Pac could do a final fight vs Marquez and who is Floyd going to fight? Khan? Come on. Garcia? Untested at 147 and got an absolute gift in his last fight.

I thought Floyd said he never heard of Manny Pacquiao before? he said where was he when he was on top? lol Floyd caught in lies again, this dude admit in 2005 that Pacman was his favorite fighter he was even at the Morles 2 fight with 50 cent and he cheering for Pacman, he also told an interviewer that Pacman will knockout Morales in te rematch because he wasn't 100 percent in the first fight.

It wasn't the Oscar fight. ODL was done when he fought Floyd in 2007, had problems with journeyman Forbes and was older when he fought Pac. But after Pac destroyed Hatton, a guy that gave Floyd some fits early, and then TKO'd Cotto Floyd jr. and sr. started talking about steroids instead of how bad they wanted the fight.
