The kid did a nice job of slipping, but then he dropped the right after throwing it and wound up with the hook. Felix countered him perfectly. It's not the first time I've seen Verdejo punish sloppy boxing. The kid is good. I liked Verdejo's footwork, came in at one angle moved out to his left anticipating the counter... forced the other fella to try to turn and get back in punching range and BOOM. The hook was sexy as fvck! The eyes as well. Just calmly watched the incoming shot sail past, calmly looked back up, saw the opening and let rip. Beautiful to watch

Kid has exceptional timing, great eyes (no homo), footwork, good speed etc etc and only 20 years old. So much to like. I will follow his career very closely! The kids all action I don't see why there's no reason to be excited about his future. It's like they put an action figure body with a tweens head. Verdejo looks like the real deal... I tend not to over praise prospects because it's so hard to climb to the top, I try not to proclaim anyone the next great fighter.. But Verdejo looks like a can't miss prospect..I think he is a future champ,mand if he stays dedicated he will be a p4p guy
