F*ck that racist piece of sh1t!!! Hope Kovalev kills him. Don't ever let me hear y'all cry racism from anyone if y'all wanna be sucking this *******s d1ck the way y'all doing now.
man I like Bhop, he is a true ATG, right up there alongside the likes of Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Pep, Monzon, Moore and so on but he does chat so much ****.
He thinks he is some boxing academic but he's not, he is barely eloquent enough to give the speeches he gives and he takes himself way too seriously.
The guy has earned millions from boxing, headlined against some of the sports biggest names and lives a comfortable life, what else does he want? What does he mean by respect?
He has garnered more respect than all of his contemporaries, be they RJJ, Toney, Eubank, Benn, Hil. The guys has to lighten up.
I like this classic one here;
Reporter - "How do you think the fight will go?"
Hopkins - "I can't tell you predict how the fight will go or what will happen. But what I will say, is Henry Cooper-Muhammad Ali"
Reporter - "Which one? They fought twice"
Hopkins - "The first one"
Reporter - "Your trainer is going to cut the glove is he?"
Hopkins - *Stares into space* You think that's.....Happen.
:lol1:
He then follows up with the classic lines of;
"I'm smarter than you. You are not on my intelligent level"
And responded to the reporter saying "The Legendary Angelo Dundee" and said "I'm talking about the fight. Not what legendarly or allegedly happened"
:lol1:
Eloquently put.
It makes me cringe watching him give interviews, he thinks he is so much better than anybody else but he really sounds like a fool, he thinks he outsmarted the interviewer or some **** but all he really did was embarrass himself as usual.
He's a great boxer but I really think Hopkins is a real racist in his heart and is a piece of ****! Style can get kinda boring after a while too. At this point, it's all about can this old guy still win regardless of how he does it. He's almost 50 yrs old. That's crazy. **** him though!!
I know he says he respects MMA nowadays but this is an all-time classic for the ages (especially if like me, you hate MMA). Re-watching it again makes me want to go back to my old username of NutsInTheyFace
This one is actually hilarious.
Never seen it before.
I don't like Ultimate fighting either, never really given it a chance but I'm not really willing to. Call me "Old school" but I just can't get into guys fighting on the floor and doing leg locks and stuff. Not for me. I don't know anyone from my generation who's into it.
:lol1:
Never seen that one before......classic. Sounded like some 18 year old English kid who had just made his own boxing YouTube channel a few weeks ago was allowed in and somehow got close to Hopkins.
B-Hop could smell the weakness :lol1:
I actually think it was Sentanta's interviewer! Not too sure but I think so.
He really could have done an even better job of making Hopkins look stupid with this interview.
If you're going to say the fights going to be like Cooper-Ali, and then asked which one, you just don't say the first one.
I like this one.

B-Hop is a legend (I read a lovely article recently where the great Nacho Beristain calls him his favourite fighter - http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-boxing-news/a-conversation-with-nacho-beristain-part-three) but seriously.....before I delve into this video, is this another one where B-Hop tells us why he is so great?
Where he rails against the establishment..... despite being considered boxing royalty, a partner in GBP, and can pretty much choose who he wants to fight?
Cos if so, I ain't watching it.
Hopkins must have so much incredible wisdom to share (and sometimes we hear it) but so much of the recent stuff is him (and Nazim) telling us why we should stroke his nutsack.
Same thing was happening with Carl Froch, who would simply not telling us why he is so amazing until Groves humbled him.
Honestly, for me the greatest writing/thoughts on boxing from a boxer is Chris Eubank - there have been some stunning articles posted on this site by that Cohaugen dude with Eubank talking - and they are mesmerising.
Maybe it's all part of the show with B-Hop and he will ease up once he's retired.
I hope so.
No, it's more about his age.
So we like being racist shtbags, dont we ;)
OH AND BY THE WAY KIDS:
Just so you know, true greats get respected without having to go around biching about how great they are.

You can make a case for Hopkins being the best of the modern era. I know he's up against a lot like Floyd's unbeaten run. Roy's prime dominance . Guys moving through multiple weight classes etc but what he's done has never been done before and probably new will again
The mean is a living legend
Agreed. He could be.
