I thought Herrera beat Danny Garcia by outboxing him but I did remember a fight from a few years ago which I had never seen (Herrera vs Provodnikov). But I do remember that I was betting on Herrera in some betting thread on another boxing site and I was pretty much the only one who bet on him and he got the decision. And after the fight everybody said that Provodnikov should have gotten the win. Anyways, for whatever reason I did not watch the fight back then but yesterday I did watch it and I felt it was a pretty clear win for Provodnikov. Herrera showed a lot of heart to stay in the fight with his injured eye though.
But from a scoring standpoint, Provodnikov basically landed all the hard shots the whole fight long and there is really no way (in my opinion) that you could give that decision to Herrera.
Herrera made me a fan though when he outboxed Danny Garcia.
I had Herrera winning the Provo fight by 1 point. Everybody saw Herrera beating Garcia clearly (everybody that isn't biased i should say).
If Herrera beat Garcia "clearly" then which 7 rounds did Herrera win dominate or even just clearly win?
that fight could have gon either way, i think i had herrera winning it by a point or two. he did clearly lose and receive a gift decision against mike dallas though. i dont remember my exact scorecard but i had dallas winning by a wide margin and was shocked when they announced herrera had "won".

Was the Herrera-Ruslan fight for the status of being the true, lineal, legitimate, Ring Title, WBC title , WBA super world title, undisputed, universally recognised Light-Welterweight Championship of the World?
Simple yes or no would do.
:lol1: Let me guess, you had the same scorecard as Teddy Atlas?
I did not score the fight while I was watching it cause I just expected a close fight and I did not care about a scorecard really. But when I watched it, I found it hard to believe anyone could give the fight to Herrera.
