To see if Ward can perform out of his comfort zone. I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Groves too if he wins.
I don't think venue changes the boxing lesson at all.
Slightly more interesting how?? The only thing interesting would be seeing which fight the 3 judges were watching.

If Froch beats Groves, he will have earned a second crack at Ward IMO. I think having the fight over here would make it slightly more interesting.

What's left for Ward at 168?
Froch/Groves winner
Golovkin
Chavez Jr. (hopefully not)
Dirrell brothers (won't happen)
So basically Golovkin... and HBO wants that fight bad. Hopefully after Chavez Jr.-Golovkin.
Ward wants money. The only options are Chavez and GGG.
Until then, he will sit and have no problem doing so.

I have a better chance of having butt sex with the girl in my avi
Course he does, low risk high reward. By people I mean "fans".

Supposedly in November, it's against Murray... but if Golovkin fights Chavez jr.... Martinez will like the fight
:
Which is why it's prime time to move up and slay Adonis and Kovalev, if he can. Put himself right back on top of the pfp food chain.
That's up to him.
I think it's time. He literally cleaned out the division and the big money fights are overseas or out of reach (Chavez JR).
He talked about it like 2 and a half years ago.
I say why not... I think he beats Stevenson off the batt.
the first one wasn't fair. andre had a broken hand.
:lol1::lol1:
I bet Ward does now

Nothing else at the weightclass. might as well unify again and grab more belts.
He ain't getting Chavez Jr

if he means it, i'm inclined to agree with you.
talk of retirement could simply be a means of pressuring hbo, or threatening goosen.
Its possible. But he doesn't act like a guy that's eager to fight again. He's throwing a tantrum because he wants to fight Chavez Jr. and Arum won't give him Chavez until he gets his promotional situation cleaned up.
A fighter that chases Chavez coming off consecutive horrible performances is clearly just looking for a quick cash out and is not interested in challenging himself anymore.
I think he's legitimately sick of boxing. He's been doing this for 20 years and is tired of the wear and tear on his body. He seems to enjoy commentating to the point where he wants to make a career out of it.
I really think he is a guy we will only see once a year for the rest of his career.
getting frustrated with Ward by now
might as well be with Don King sitting on the shelf like he does
after the S6 and Dawson, Ward rightly took p4p #1 from Pac and Floyd
then he blew it sitting on his ass doing nothing
what's the deal with him and Goossen?
nursing an injury was one thing, don't know about his promotional woes
he became a star and champ with Goossen, so it's surprising
Ward is wasting valuable time and fading from view quickly
come back and get to 175 already, this is getting annoying
:lol1: :lol1: that's a good joke.

Wants control of his career, so he's trying to get out of his contract with Goosen.
Arum been whispering in his ear and he wants Chavez Jr on PPV.
Only way he gets that though is if he joins Top Rank, which won't be possible till 2015, so he's trying to get out of it now
