Pacquiao is a ATG, Canelo has not even secured his place in the HOF. Floyd has ducked many other fighters apart from Pacquiao, each one he has a different excuse for. Alright guys, I had just brought this up to see if an argument could be made for TB becomming P4P #1 and I think a good argument could be made. But will he take over the #1 spot? I dont think so. Unless he totally destroys PAC or Kayo's him, then, maybe. But I dont think anybody is going to be #1 unless they beat Mayweather.

I really don't think Bradley could overtake Mayweather's spot..I mean I guess if Bradley beats Pac and moves on to fight a real challenge again while Mayweather fights Khan after Maidana..I think that would be a bit unacceptable,and I still don't know if I could move May..He's done to much and has not loss at all in his long career..It's a tough one imo..After this fight tho,he certainly does not move to num 1 should he beat Pac..Ward tho,should Bradley wins has to move imo..

He should not overtake Floyd or Ward. Ward's my favorite fighter, but beating Marquez and Pacquiao while Ward sits around doing nothing should definitely put Bradley in that two spot.

My point is that Floyd opened it up for the "haters" to discredit his win against Canelo with the weight thing. Bradley will still be solid #3 if he beats Pac with no questions but Ward's spot won't be guaranteed much longer.....he needs to step his game up fast or he is taking a dip in the standings.

Lol. Pacquiao shouldn't even be ranked in the top 10 P4P. When was the last time he beat a ranked welter? Bradley. And if you don't count that as a win. Then Timothy Bradley is the p4p no.1 now. He got it when he beat Pacquiao (as you think Pacquiao didn't win that) and cemented it when he beat Marquez. Pacquiao beats Bradley he regains top spot.

Canelo would destroy Provodnikov. Well Canelo is a LARGE 154 pound fighter and Provodnikov just fought at 140 so it does stand to reason that Canelo would probably do a number on him. I think Canelo would do a number on Lara which would be a much more intriguing and meaningful fight imo - I'd watch either one but the latter of which would be a more even matchup.

If you have the skills, you take on the tough matches not pick fights and make up contingencies that lend to the discrediting of your win even though you have all the physical advantages to begin with.
