AMERICAN knockout king Deontay Wilder has labelled Britain's Tyson Fury "the clown of heavyweight boxing".
Wilder, 28, has knocked out all of his 30 opponents to date and wants a showdown with the winner of Fury and Dereck Chisora.
The British pair are set for a summer showdown in a WBO title eliminator.

I hate when people use the better competition reasoning for a w or l. Both have shown that they are elite level competition and as far as experience goes, wilder is an Olympic medalist and has sparred with a klitschko. I think that is as good as fighting a 5'11 Cunningham and Chisora. I told multiple people b4 rigo beat donaire that it would be an easy fight for him and it was, same about Garcia khan and Garcia morales. Experience isn't everything because you're not in the ring w the others and both present unique styles for the other, I just think fury relies on a bit of physicality that won't be effective vs wilder.
GGG resume as poor as it is is still miles ahead of Wilders.
GGG's older, been a pro longer, and had a more extensive amateur career. Wilder was late to the sport. No excuses. But he needed an apprenticeship far more than GGG. GGG probably could have competed with the best in his division ten fights or less into his career. Wilder, even 30 fights deep, is still a work in progress.
Nope, but that's not my point. Both of their resumes are jokes. But folks let it slide when it comes to GGG and sh1t on Wilder. Even though GGG is older and had a more extensive amateur resume. Wilder needs to stop it up. But if GGG can fight the crappy competition he's fought for nearly a decade. Wilder should get the benefit of the doubt. Especially from those who worship GGG.

It looks to me like Wilder is finally ready to step up and see where he stands..... This is just talk, trying to create some potential interest.... I'm guessing he thinks Fury will win and is trying to set the table for down the road.... I'm just glad play time is over for him...... Wilder doesn't look like he can fight very well while moving backwards.... I hope they can address that in the gym before the push for a title fight.....
I think Fury would be a better match for Wilder than the winner of the Arreola fight....
I don't mind this sideshow, regardless of who wins.... At least there's something going on in the Heavyweight division, weak as it is... The Klitschko's have owned this division for so long, I can't remember who was the last legitimate threat after Lennox Lewis......
You think Wilders faced the same competition as GGG?

Its hilarious to me how many of the clowns on this thread sh1t'n on Wilder's resume are the same clowns with their lips planted firmly on GGG's ballsack and defend his joke of a resume to the death. #doublestandards

As much as I don't like Haye, and I really dont fkn like him, he would have given Fury a lesson and none of us would have to listen to BigMouth the Yeti talk anymore.
PLEEEEEEEEASE people, stop posting this same opinion over and over every time Fury's name is mentioned. It didn't happen and it never will.
Fury/Haye is OVER, FINISHED, KAPUT, DEAD AS A DODO, OVER AND OUT AND THE FAT LADY HAS SUNG TWICE. You missed her? You were lucky. She was f***king awful.
Both are useless overated lumps, but seeing as Fury is easy so to hit and gets decked by non punchers and Cruiserweights if they fight Wilder will starch him inside of 3 rounds.
Hahaha Awwwww that's sooooo sweet :)
All the "hometown" support posts are soooo cute. Look at all of you with your panties in a bunch at the thought of your hero "Big Mouth The Yeti" being KO'd by "The Bum Bomber".
SMH
Listen.. Back your guy if you want but don't sugar coat a U.K. turd, call it a Mars Bar than try to deliver it to North American and force feed it to me. Fury is absolutely **** and will suffer a horrible horrible defeat the second he fights a top legitimate Heavy and it's going to make all of you look like biased numbskulls for tooting his horn so damn loud. And i'm not talking Cunninghams of the world. Give me a W over Arreola, Stiverne or Wilder and i can begin to take you seriously. As much as I don't like Haye, and I really dont fkn like him, he would have given Fury a lesson and none of us would have to listen to BigMouth the Yeti talk anymore.
if your name is Wilder you should be the last person who talks bad about other HWs...Fury fought Chisora in his 15th pro fight...Wilder fought Firtha in his 30th...
He has fought some good HW's, and he didn't get knocked out...
Hate him or love him, the man can fight a bit. He is a pretty good HW, and I would easily pick him over Wilder based on experience against a higher level on competition alone. He has been knocked down, and got up and beat the brakes off the dude, Wilder has faced basically no adversity, aside from his infamous knock down by a fat midget.
Remains to be see if Wilder can do anything aside from wing giant telegraphed punches to overmatched shot to pieces fighters. Being from the US, I would love Wilder to be the truth, but I am waiting to see something that looks like it before I claim him the best HW in the world.
pretty much sums it up...
too me wilder is the guy who talks too much. he has a win over 2 completely washed up Hws in Harrison & liakhovich. I was surprised how quickly he beat sergei but still he had seen better days. fury has beaten some decent guys & i'd pick fury to beat wilderat this point. the Harold sconier KD cloud still hovers over his head in my eyes. I don't think he can take a punch or at least he hasn't proven it yet.
Fury was out of shape in his last fight because he lost a £5 million payday. I'd probably hit the pies as well if it happened to me.
You could say that, but then he's been out of shape for the majority of his career. I dont think its fair to act like him being out of shape is the anomaly. Him being in shape for a few fights was the real anomaly
Wilder calls Fury the clown of heavyweight boxing, yet can't pick a winner for Fury/Chisora?
Obviously, he is doing the same thing he accuses Fury of doing - talking bull-**** to draw attention to himself.
If they ever fight, Fury will ko Wilder, imo. He has a longer reach and a fast, accurate left jab. Wilder was staggered by a left jab from Firtha. Fury's jab would break him down pretty quickly.
Unless both show some improvements soon i think they are both clowns.
Wilder can barely throw a right hand with out falling over, and Fury cant stay in shape for more than a few months in a row.
Fury is a joke, looking forward to seeing him get knocked out when he fights a good heavyweight
