Pep is one of my all time favorites, his skills were almost unparalleled. But he was not perfect. He lacked big power and was not the best infighter. Everyone who troubled him at or near his prime were either bigger maulers or mauling, dirty big guys...Sammy Angott and Saddler.
1) Wilfredo Gomez 122
2) Salvador Sanchez 126
3) Jeff Fenech 126
4) Alexis Arguello 130
5) Mayweather 130
6)Azumah Nelson 126
7) Naseem Hamed 126
8) Eusbio Pedroza
I thinkk Style-wise Fenech would be a nightmare....5'8" ish...great stamina, good power, was a mauler and brawler...he has the best shot at 126 becuase he wont try to outbox him.....sanchez, gomez, hamed, nelson, will get befuddled and outboxed. Arguello as well. Mayweather was slightly less hard to hit than pep at 130 but had longer arms, comparable speed of hand and foot and more power...Pep would have to fight the perfect fight because Mayweather would beat him up inside on against the ropes...if he tried to wait and counterpunch he'd loose. Lateral movement and busy combos and defense would be vital for Pep to win
