(actual irish, not micky ward) if so, i think i've seen it. millon dollar baby is my favorite by far. the fighter is a really good one, ragign bull too Yes...DDL trained like 2 years preparing for that role. I think Barry McGuigan trained him. Daniel Day Lewis's dedication is second to none.

1-Raging Bull 2-Rocky 3-The Boxer with Daniel Day Lewis. Its not as well known as a lot of other films mentioned in this thread so far,but it is fantastic. 4-The Fighter 5-Million Dollar Baby I didn't really like The Hurricane... is this one about an irish boxer? Yes...Its pretty damn good. I don't want to spoil anything for you,but a few things about it annoyed me. Overall though,pretty good. Particularly Bale's performance. Yeah I'm a big fan of Ward after seeing the Gatti documentary.. I gotta see that one, thanks.. PRPP:boxing:
