American heavyweight contender, Deontay Wilder, who has won all 30 of his fights inside four rounds, has warned his former sparring partner and ex-WBA champion, David Haye, not to attempt a comeback.
Commenting, Wilder said:
David isn't a true heavyweight as he came up through the cruiserweight ranks and his body must have taken some punishment after going up against bigger guys.
'He should listen to his body and stay in retirement. If he did come back he may also have trouble winning back some of his fans who felt pulling out of those fights with Fury left a disgusting taste.
Wilder is looking to make a statement of intent this Saturday against fellow US heavyweight, Malik Scott, and hasn't ruled out fighting Tyson Fury or Dereck Chisora in England after he captures the WBC crown.
I want to show power beats technique by beating Malik Scott on the way to the WBC title. I would love to travel the world defending my title like Muhammad Ali and all those guys and I really love England because I have family and so many friends there.
'I would be more than happy to face either Fury or Dereck Chisora on their own patch; it wouldn't worry me because I know I can beat them. I love fighting in England
I like the idea of David Haye, but not the reality.
I enjoy watching him fight, tome it's a lot of fun to see a HW like him... but he brings so much baggage now I can't get fired up for anything he is involved in.
id rather he just retires. there's always that dreaded feeling of a good fight being scrapped whenever he's involved. im sick of the let downs

Spot on, man!

I agree with Wilder.
Most boxing fans are fed up with David Haye.
I agree with you man a LOT of people are tired of Haye, they must be...If they are not then they must be his fanboys or casuals who still fall for the hype he manages to generate.
Any hardcore, or knowledgeable fan would be sick of him by now. To have him come back and talk his way into fight straight away would piss me off for one. Personally I think he would have beaten Fury, but bottom line if Haye does come back it should be with his tail between his legs and he should quietly and respectfully have done with the Fury fight, then we'll see. If he just pops up again and convinces another bunch of casuals he is the heavyweight saviour again then I'd be pretty annoyed.
