And you guys see how he negates the pressure with that hard jab? Also, when he's teeing off on the guy, he's turning his opponent, little by little, every time he's hitting him.
That's something Broner has no clue about. That's why Floyd's gonna route Maidana. And that's why Broner looked like an amateur.
Nice observations. I posted this prob a couple of weeks ago:

It will be a one sided war, waged surgically smart bomb style by Mayweather. You've all been fooled by the Broner fight. Watch it properly. Broner stands in range without throwing or giving different looks. That is why he was taken to the cleaners. He can't transition defense to offence. He didn't stay behind the jab and work off it either and he didn't throw any left hooks off the back foot. Maidana's aggression is going to get him KO'd against Floyd. Chino's only chance is to snap Floyd's neck back with one of those overhands.
Totally agree with your comments. Broner stood there, within range in front of Maidana squared up, without jabbing and without getting off first. He didn't even do something as fundamental as throwing check left hooks backing up against an aggressive opponent.
Floyd is going to rout Maidana no matter where and how this fight is fought. In this fight you will see Floyd's full range. He will fight backing up, pressuring and moving forward (when Maidana is tired) and in the pocket. All the time he will reposition Maidana, work off the jab and do a whole range of things Broner can only do PROPERLY in his dreams. Broner just stood there squared up like a FOOL.
Maidana will eat that straight right to the face and slam Floyds head with a sharp right hook, before ripping Floyd to the ribs and higado as he bullies him to the ropes and buckles Floyd's knees and then slips a monster uppdercut underneath Floyd's left arm as he switches to the shell to counter then pivot which lifts Floyd off of his feet and sends him to the canvas as all of NSB erupts and Golovkin, southpawology, syf and I yell WAR MAIDANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And then larryx wakes up in a cold sweat, "it was all a dream!" ( in biggies' voice)

I like how the person emulating Maidana isn't throwing anything back and Floyd is throwing at will like a warrior lol. Don't be surprised if Maidana starts talking to the Showtime crew laughing "No pega, no pega la marica vaca esta. Se metio con el toro" / "No power, this sissy cow has no power. And it has messed with the bull". I will laugh my ass off when Floyd starts moving his shoulders from side to side and an overhand shot comes from up top where those shoulders can't do **** and throw his petite body out of the ring.
WAR MAIIIIIDANAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! GUERRAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
It'll be funny to watch Floyd's face when Maidana starts walking thru those girly punches with a smile on his face and shaking his head.

If Floyd had power like George Foreman for his weight class and kept all his other gifts, he would actually be equal to prime RJJ.
That's how great Roy was
RJJ was pure athleticism and power, he couldn't outbox brian sutherland. The comparison isn't even close to close, shame on you.
the guy he was sparring looks like a gym casual member. dude ain't even moving or anything just covering and standing there like a fvcking punching bag.
i want to see him go spar with someone who really knows boxing atleast somehow i'll be really impressed.
He was actually the Janitor for the gym...
Did they pick out the first random guy they saw wearing a TMT hat and asked him to spar? He could even pass for a legit TMT fighter, you really can't tell the difference with how bad they are.
Well the guy wasn't punching back. Didn't look like he planned to either.
They were working on something probably.
They were working on Floyd punching while being backed up. They are expecting Maidana to be coming forward.
It's imperative Maidana trains for a potshotting moving May that only on occasion stands in the pocket or defends off the ropes
I guess Maidana needs to work on his head movement and footwork, although he's pretty decent at cutting off the ring.
I just can't see Maidana winning, but in boxing anything can happen.
That was in the first week of training camp too if I'm not mistaken.
floyd could not even train, eat mcdonalds all month and still whoop maidana. i honestly find it amazing how floyd can be motivated for this fight especially, i've been saying it all along this will end up like floyd-baldomir.
when in trouble punching and turning your opponent while maintaining your balance and movement is 100 percent the plan, give him something to walk into while not allowing him so set his feet and making him walk into something
We don't always see eye to eye (pretty much never), but I agree with this.
He's practicing for worst case scenarios. And don't be surprised if Floyd hurts Maidana in these sitautions.
He's showing what he plans to do with maidana, as the poor disadvantaged and mismatched slugger would try to walk him. The strength of course will not be as what he was showing on the video; for he will be always wary that maidana might punch him back. In this video, the sparring partner role is to just receive the punches and not fight back.
If this is his gameplan he's in trouble. Opening up that much on a ferocious puncher in his prime...
But it's just diversion. Sort of like they highlighted Floyd throwing hard body shots in all access training for Canelo, as if he was planning to break Canelo down to the body.
He will box and potshot. That's what should be expected. There is a reason he released that, he wants to Give the impression he's going to fight a different fight than he will... And get Maidana off his gameplan if this footage reaches him.

well damn this guy knows something bout boxing
Lol they picked this guy off the streets, sparring with some running shoes.:lol1:
I've tried it, and they grip the matt so easily that you could end up tripping all over the ring, just dont feel right.
It's the soles lol, boxing shoes have thinner soles, at least the ones I wear do. When even walking on my own carpet, running shoes and boxing shoes feel waaay different lol, but yea, I love watching cats in the ring with running shoes.
Wtf... Is that Larry helping Floyd out for free?
Seriously tho, those people are such suck ups that I wouldn't be surprised if he was doing it for free.
