Yeah I put it at a 6, too. I liked the thompson-alvarez bout. Linares-Arakawa was pretty good, it wasnt at a hellish pace but linares kinda looked like he could have started to give in and never did..Arakawa is a tough sob. Bring him back for whoever. - unfortunately Mijares just wanted to finish the fight, prob should retire soon. Canelo-Angulo i enjoyed despite the ending.
(not trying to advocate PPV's but I did like having a fresh face headline the fight party ppv's, ppl like Canelo's fights it seems.)
out of the ppv, some matchups that I would like to see:
Figueroa-Linares
Thompson-Arakawa
The only good thing about it from top to bottom is that Canelo looked good .... everything else about it was not PPV worthy ....that's if you actually paid for it.
On paper is was a good card,,, Molina having his issues kinda dropped the card abit, but the alverav-Sergio fight was good..
The other 2 undercard fights looked good on paper but didn't translate to the ring..
Canelo angulo was good,, ending was anti climatic but canelo made it entertaining and gave the best performance of his career
I have it a 6
I paid 6 bucks for a good quality stream. That's what I thought it was worth. I would have actually prefer a bunch of Thompsons-Alavarezes over a bunch of of names in mismatches like we just got. It gets depression and boring after a few rounds.
I voted 7 but the main event was much more entertaining then any of Floyd fights in a long time ....if I'm Ganna see a shut out at least let punches fly and see a fight
I voted 4 cause that's what it would have gotten if I had paid. Molina-Charlo being wiped lowered it along with Figueroa pulling out. Santa Cruz fight was kinda boring and the stoppage in the main event was meh. I expected more from GBP with the killer under cards they've been putting on.
I hope they don't make the same mistake for May 3rd. #KhanBroner
