Is this the new theme from boxing "fans" these days? Fighters only dominate others because of PEDs or they were paid off. Is it that hard for people to admit they were wrong on a prediction or admit their favorite fighter was just a lesser man on that night.
It's come up a lot recently and a bunch of random posters said that Canelo-Angulo was paid off....really....Canelo on paper was a far better fighter and looked like he had something to prove. He beat Angulo pillar to post and that's all there was to it.
I just don't understand this, I know sometimes it may seem that way but very very rarely and not at the point that this comes up....
I don't think anyone can honestly state that, that was the same Angulo in that ring tonight. He was sluggish and seemed to have little to no energy.
True! Canelo tapped that azz good, but that was the very first time I've seen Angulo so sluggish.
Yeah, but this was the first time Perro fought someone with that combination of speed, power, and counter punching.

Take a look at Floyds head he used to have a peanut head. His head was bigger than that announcer 's hell his head is the size of James Toney"s. I think he's on the real shyt that Slyvistor Stallone takes HGH bullet proof
I disagree, but this isn't a Floyd thread. It's mainly it's thrown around way too much. I don't see how this wouldn't be checked for at that level. Boxing might be corrupt but that's one too many conspiracies for it to be really feasible.
^^i agree with both you guys but angulo didn't seem right he didn't look like he came to win no power from someone who a power puncher ....baby taps something wAsnt right about this fight
Canelo didn't allow Perro to come forward for the first half of the fight, and when Canelo started backing up and boxing Angulo was getting countered hard. Canelo landed higher than 60% of his power shots and came out the gate throwing (and landing) vicious shots. Angulo got gun shy, simple as that.

I admit Angulo lost to the better man in Canelo. I was wrong.
Now can Canelo step up and fight the top fighter of his division in Lara?
Don't disappoint me boxing!
Kinda hard to think otherwise now especially with guys popping like crazy for PEDs like Bey, Love and so on.
True enough, though it seems every big fight, or blow out is due to one of these two things. PEDs are probably more likely in any case but rarely is there any evidence of it without failed tests.
The bigger one is paid off judges/refs/trainers/someone because that's a lot less likely especially in bigger fights, and it seems to happen anytime someone has a poor performance.

My thoughts on that go with what I've said on other threads. He said after round 1 he was feeling Canelo's punches....he was probably not wanting to feel them more and they just kept coming. He wasn't loading up power in the case of getting hit with even harder shots.

Thank you. Part of the reason I hate being a sports fan in this day and age. Anything remotely extraordinary or spectacular cues the "PED/paid judges/paid off fighters or trainers" arguments. F.cking stupid.
