To hard to say how Thurman would do.hes never faced anyone half as good as Manny yet. Easy to say he'd KO manny but Manny always has had a great chin against way bigger men and has demolished most except JMM. Thurman is the real deal though I think.
Oh great now I have rabid pac fans teaming up on me.
Prime for me are his best performances against his best contemporaries.
Barrera/Marquez/Morales rematch trumps Cotto and Hatton easily, no doubt.
Hatton can't lay a glove on these guys status wise. Hatton who was saved by the ref against some journeyman when he got rocked? Hatton? Who had the worst trainer ever for that style? :lol1:
Cotto looked like ass against Clottey, and Manny still needed a catchweight. Get outta here.
Come on, son.
That's the thing. When Pac rammed right through Mexico's ATGs he was still considered beatable. Everytime he went up another class starting at Featherweight he was being considered as the underdog. It wasn't until he conquered 3 weight classes in a span of a year against HOF'ers did he become truly unbeatable. No one doubted he would win every time after the 2008-2010 run. That was his prime.
a hail mary shot that he was landing since the 1st round...plus Hatton was coked out so that means PAC wasn't in his prime
class dismissed?
daf0ckouttahere
He wasn't landing that type of shot from the first round :lol1: Yeah Manny I'maclosemy eyes and throw this shot Pacquiao was prime then
of course im a big pacman fan lol hes my favorite fighter with shane mosley a close 2nd. u called me a rabid fan, never that brother. if u think im one, well i'd hate to see what u think of some other dudes on here.
I can't understand half of the Floyd or Pac fans on here so it's a moot point :lol1: Youre a solid poster though I enjoy your insight.
Well you certainly took issue with something I said, coming from another poster in our conversation so of course I'm going to assume youre a big pacfan with him your avi.
Guess what, I don't pick anyone today to beat a Prime James Toney. What does that have to do with an ounce of anything?

why are we making excuses trying to discredit those wins. he beat hatton and cotto come on, no need to play this game. its been done to death and this thread isnt about that. i think hatton and cotto are great fighters. are they better then the big 3 mexican legends of our era, heck no. you're right i agree with that. btw, im no rabid pacfan. if it seems like i was attacking apologies but i really do think hatton and cotto are great. but not greater! then jmm barrera morales. peace brother

....... your joking me
pacman especially back then was TRULY a 1 handed fighter who spammed the damn straight left to the face. watch the morales fight and tell me how many left hands he throws???? also the hatton shot a hail mary? it was clear from the get go manny was too good for him and beat the utter **** out of him for the entire fight. wasnt he knocked down in rd 1? come on man. hatton is a great fighter now ur playing this game trying to discredit his accomplishments in the ring. come on man!!

Head hunting Pac? Pac hurt Morales to the body in the first round. Pac landing a hail mary shot on a drug abusing Hatton is hardly prime worthy. a Nice KO, but no nicer than Jefferson KO'ing Harris.
Class dismissed.

i like how you totally shifted stance to 'better wins'...you asked when I thought he was in his prime
you think the 1 armed, headhunting PAC that fought Morales was prime, that's on you

Who knows I'm undecided between a decision or a TKO victory for Pacman.
Part of me thinks Thurman would get hit several times with the left and end up quitting also noting the fact that Thurman does look a bit chinny and he would be getting hit alot.
Why not Thurman vs Mayweather? It's easy to make. Both are GBP fighters. Oh, Thurman is too big for Money Mayweather. That's why these Floyd cult members make me sick. Thurman is not even on their radar screen when it comes to their cherry picking idol.
:unitedsta
Schaefer said Thurman was on the list of possible Mayweather foes so you're wrong.
the one that steamrolled DLH, Hatton and Cotto...the one that actually used his right hand
Those versions of Hatton and Cotto are better wins to you than Marquez and Barrera? :lol1:
The best Manny we will ever see is the one who outboxed and dropped Marquez in the second fight.

Marquez beat him in their 3rd fight.
yeah i love that fight i think it was close and could go either way. my personal favorite is the 1st fight, hopefully will be the 5th one lol i think pacman knocks his azz out in the 5th fight but i know JMM has his number and will be a tough tough fight
lol i never said that read the quote again. i said no one but floyd yes i know fighters have given him troubles. i know he has lost before. all im saying is that a pacman prime on his game i would take over anyone not named floyd!

I'm not but I thought no one beats a Prime Manny?
